Story
Benji has been our good boy for 7 years now, we got him as a puppy from a friend. We recently had a baby and he is not adjusting well. He started growling and snapping at her, being possessive and started to get food aggressive with our other dog. He loves to play with older kids but I believe it’s just the littles that make him uncomfortable. He loves to play outside and would be a great farm dog. It breaks our heart to have to rehome him but its what’s best. We would hope the person to adopt has a big backyard and the time and patience to play with him and show him lots of love. He loves to cuddle, he is house trained and crate trained. He knows a lot of commands, he’s just not great with recall. He is a talker, if he wants your attention or to ask for something he will make it known. Normally he is fine with other dogs especially bigger ones but with him getting food aggressive with our other dog, I don’t know if that could be said anymore.

From the moment he wakes up, this sweet soul has just one goal: to be close to his person and soak up every ounce of love and attention they’ll give him. If you’ve got hands, he’s got spots that need scratching—especially his belly and that oh-so-scratchable booty! And don’t be surprised if he plants himself in your lap for optimal cuddling (despite being far from lap-sized). He’s a master of the sploot, often found snoozing peacefully in the shade or gazing out the window, daydreaming about his next snack or belly rub. Speaking of snacks—Kieran loves his treats, and even enjoys bath time (especially when it includes extra pampering and scratches in all the right places). Kieran is still learning about the world around him. He’s curious but calm around other dogs and shows polite interest in cats, though he’s still figuring them out. Story
Mavericks is a very sweet dog. He’s very protective and territorial over those he loves. I bought him online from a breeder, and discovered that he was being mistreated by the previous owner. At a glance you could see his bones through his skin and he was covered in poop when I first got him. I know he’s had his fair share of trauma because he was very timid, scared, and nervous when I first got him. He was afraid of everything and especially loud noises. But over the years, I’ve been working with him and he’s slowly gained his confidence. The only issue is that he doesn’t do too well around newly introduced people. Due to him still having some fear from his previous owner, it takes him a little longer to warm up to newly introduced people. However, I have seen him very welcoming and loving to newly introduced people. So I know it’s in him! Maverick is a very handsome and loving dog. He’s honestly the best and he’ll follow you anywhere you go!
