Noel has been waiting for his forever home at Fluff Animal Rescue since January 2024. His story began with heartbreak, but his resilience and joyful spirit have made him an unforgettable dog.
Noel was discovered abandoned in a bag in the parking lot of the Hernando County Fire Department. The firefighters who found him quickly realized he had suffered significant injuries, including a severely damaged eye, broken teeth, and painful asphalt burns. Due to the extent of the injury, one of Noel's eyes had to be removed.
But don't tell Noel he's different.
Despite everything he has been through, Noel lives life to the fullest. He loves playing fetch, going for walks, snuggling with his favorite people, and enjoying all the things dogs love most. His favorite toys are squeaky toys, and there's nothing cuter than seeing Noel proudly look up at you with a toy in his mouth, hoping you'll join in the fun.
Noel is an active, intelligent dog who would thrive with an active adopter who can provide kind, confident leadership. He's smart, highly treat-motivated, and already knows commands like "sit" and "down." He enjoys learning and would love a family that will continue helping him build on his skills.
Noel gets along wonderfully with medium to large dogs, but he is not a match for homes with cats, small dogs, or young children.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who is smart, active, affectionate, and just the right amount of goofy, Noel may be the perfect dog for you. After everything he's overcome, Noel is more than ready to find the loving forever home he deserves!
