Story
Fergus is a 3 year old Pit mix who came to us with his 'sister', Elinor. Fergus is very sweet, playful, and loving. He is the more outgoing of the two. Fergus loves people and attention, he also is usually wearing a big goofy grin on his face! Fergus walks decently well on a leash. We believe both of them were predominantly outside dogs in their previous home, but we also think Fergus would transition well into being an indoor dog if he finds a family willing to be patient with him while he adjusts.Fergus came to us heartworm positive and will need to come back to the shelter for treatment after he is adopted. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Mowgli is a 1.5 year old Pit mix who is such a sweet, sweet boy! Mowgli loves to play and smiles just about all day long! Mowgli is a just a big ole goofy goober who is so excited to find his furever family! Mowgli can be a bit mouthy, but we have been working on that with him. Because of this, we do not suggest him with very small children. Mowgli is a happy-go-lucky fella who has this 'I love the world' mentality. We are unsure how Mowgli does with other dogs and would suggest a meet-n-greet if you have another dog in the home. Mowgli needs to find an active family who is ready to take on life with him! Story
Ugga is a 1 year old Pit mix who is very sweet and very energetic boy! Ugga loves people and is usually sporting a goofy grin that will make anyone smile! Ugga loves to stick out his tongue and give sweet, but sloppy, kisses! He does pull on the leash though and he will need a little bit of work with manners. However, he is such a happy boy that we think he would be very willing to learn if someone was just willing to teach. Ugga would love to find a family that he can go outside and play ball with, but he would also probably be pretty happy snuggled on the couch watching football on Saturdays!     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.   Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
