Story
Piglet’s previous owner fell on hard times, and Piglet found himself living in a car. Despite those difficult circumstances, Piglet was deeply loved. Wanting the very best for him, his previous owner made the heartbreaking but selfless decision to help him find a place where he could be surrounded by care, comfort, and stability. Now, Piglet is ready for a fresh start and a forever home filled with the love he deserves.
Piglet is a 3–4-year-old black Lab mix who weighs about 55 pounds, and he is equal parts sweetheart and shadow. This handsome boy absolutely loves people. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or heading out for an adventure, Piglet is happiest by your side. He is house-trained and kennel trained, sleeps through the night in his kennel with no accidents and is working through a little separation anxiety with steady improvement every day. He is not much of a morning pup 😊. Piglet has also made great progress with basic obedience and manners. When he first arrived, he did not know “sit,” and now he will automatically sit. His short coat is easy to maintain with regular brushing, so no professional grooming is required.
Piglet gets along well with other dogs, does great with cats, and is good with children too. One of his favorite things in the world is toys — especially a good game of tug! He loves to play, and his goofy, fun-loving personality shines when he is carrying around one of his favorite toys.
