Story
🐾 Meet Kover! 🐾Sometimes the sweetest dogs have the hardest beginnings.Kover is a 1-year-old, 49-pound Pit Bull who was sadly abandoned by her previous owners. Because of that, we don't know much about her past—but we've learned plenty about the amazing dog she is today.❤️ One thing is crystal clear: Kover LOVES other dogs!Whether it's a big dog looking for a rough-and-tumble wrestling partner or a little dog that prefers a gentle game of chase, Kover is happy to adjust her play style. She seems to have a special talent for making canine friends wherever she goes! When Kover arrived at the shelter, she was suffering from flea dermatitis, an allergic skin reaction caused by fleas. That's why she's missing so much of her beautiful coat. The good news is we've already treated the fleas with preventative medication and given her a much-needed bath. Now all she needs is time, good nutrition, and a loving home to let her hair grow back. Her future family will need to keep her on a quality flea preventative year-round to help prevent the dermatitis from returning. It's a small commitment that will make a huge difference in keeping Kover healthy and comfortable.✨ Kover is scheduled to be spayed on Thursday, July 23, and will be available for adoption beginning Friday, July 24. If you've been looking for a playful companion who loves other dogs, make plans to come meet her as soon as she's ready!Every day, Kover reminds us that your past doesn't define your future. She's friendly, playful, resilient, and ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family who will never leave her behind. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky companion who loves to play with other dogs and has so much love to give, Kover may be the perfect match.Come meet Kover and see her beautiful personality shine—her fur won't be the only thing that's growing. ❤️🐾 ADOPTION INFORMATION 🐾Thinking about adding a new furry family member?
