Klaus is an energetic chewer who delights in bones and tennis balls, and he flourishes with a reliable house-training routine. Not to mention, he's a huge fan of belly rubs! It's impossible not to fall head over heels for this little bundle of joy! It's impossible not to fall head over heels for this little bundle of joy!ADOPTION FEE: LOCAL $100 NON-LOCAL $140All dogs receive at least 1 distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccine. If possible, a heartworm test will be done, and if negative, the dog will be started on heartworm prevention. All animals receive flea and parasite prevention/treatment and will be microchipped.All animals can go home the same day as adoption. We will need your photo ID, and you will sign some documents. Adopters will also receive a copy of the animal's medical history to date. We do not do an application process. All adoptions are first-come, first-served. We do not offer holds.In most cases, we do not require that adopters bring all their family members and dogs to a meet-and-greet. But we do highly encourage it. We are happy to introduce the new dog to your dog(s) at the shelter. No appointment necessary.We do offer home trials for dogs over 6 months old for about a week. You will not need to pay the adoption fee (spay-neuter deposit) ahead of time, but if you decide to adopt, you will need to return to the shelter to complete the paperwork and pay the adoption deposit. If you do not wish to complete the adoption, you can bring the dog back at any time during normal business hours during your home trial period. We do not allow after hours drop off.
