Meet Daisy, our delightful 7-month-old pit bull! With her gorgeous short coat sparkling in the sunlight and her expressive eyes brimming with love and curiosity, she’s sure to steal your heart. This playful sweetheart has a heart of gold and absolutely adores long, cozy hugs.Daisy is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations, making her not just healthy but also ready to embark on new adventures with a caring family. She can't wait to meet new friends and showcase her fun-loving spirit! We are so excited for you to discover the joy and companionship Daisy has in store—she has so much love to give!ADOPTION FEE: LOCAL $100 NON-LOCAL $140All dogs receive at least 1 distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccine. If possible, a heartworm test will be done, and if negative, the dog will be started on heartworm prevention. All animals receive flea and parasite prevention/treatment and will be microchipped.All animals can go home the same day as adoption. We will need your photo ID, and you will sign some documents. Adopters will also receive a copy of the animal's medical history to date. We do not do an application process. All adoptions are first-come, first-served. We do not offer holds.In most cases, we do not require that adopters bring all their family members and dogs to a meet-and-greet. But we do highly encourage it. We are happy to introduce the new dog to your dog(s) at the shelter. No appointment necessary.We do offer home trials for dogs over 6 months old for about a week. You will not need to pay the adoption fee (spay-neuter deposit) ahead of time, but if you decide to adopt, you will need to return to the shelter to complete the paperwork and pay the adoption deposit. If you do not wish to complete the adoption, you can bring the dog back at any time during normal business hours during your home trial period. We do not allow after hours drop off.
