Hero came to us after he was found by a local animal lover with 2 broken legs. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people, other dogs & cats. His approx. birth date is 01/01/18 and he currently weighs 41#. We did not see either parent and are guessing at breed based on physical attributes. We had both legs corrected at the price of $7000 and the results were great. The surgeon stated that the legs were broken most likely by a bat and that they were definitely broken at least 2 weeks apart. Someone did very bad things to this nice boy. Hero has been in foster and is House Trained. He has also graduated from basic obedience and is ready to move up to Dog 3 Obedience Class! Hero can be very possessive of his people and can be dog selective. We are recommending his as an only dog in an adult home. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol And heart worm tested negative.His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##580807##

Hello my name is Cole I'm the best boy one on one with my humans however, I do have a few special requests for anyone considering adopting me!  Coles Commandments: Thou shall not house me with other pets (cats, dogs, small animals, ect) Thou shall promise to start behavior training with me as soon as adopted Thou shall provide me with higher protein food for all meals due to my high metabolism Thou shall shower me with all the soft fuzzy blankets known to man (or woman) Thou shall give me all the treats, love and cuddles my heart desires Thou shall promise to give me ample amounts of car rides weekly so I may pretend I'm flying Thou shall not give me peanut butter as I dislike it greatly Thou shalt provide me with a fenced yard so that I may have zoomies to my heart's content Thou shall be open, understanding and knowledgable with me being a pit bull Thou shalt apply for me at All4animalsrescue.org   Cole's adoption fee is waived for the right home and proof of training agreement once adopted. Mr. Stallone loves his one on one time with the volunteers. He is super sweet and loves to cuddle and overall is a pretty chill guy. He would probably choose a back scratch over a ball (but as he gets more comfortable, we'll see if that continues to be the case). He had a bit of a rough start at the shelter with sore hind legs, but is on a joint supplement now for his hips. He does have a slight heart murmur that needs to be monitored, but no treatment at this time and it doesn't slow him down one bit. He is not a super high energy dog. He would be fine with backyard time and maybe a short walk for some exercise, depending on his joint supplement. He does bark at the other dogs in the shelter when they pass by, but this has gotten SOOOO much better as he has settled in to his routine with the volunteers. He is much more accepting of the other dogs and is less reactive to them. He will need to meet any potential brothers/sisters to make sure they are ok together. He did live with 8 cats before coming to the shelter, so we feel very confident that he would do well in a house with cats. If you are looking for a dog to hang out that doesn't need hours of play time, Stallone would be a good match for you.  ##2472380##
