Story
Jo came to us from another shelter. It is always sad when an older dog comes to us, because they have to adjust to living in a kennel situation and it is terribly confusing for them. Even though she is older she has a lot of energy, and is extremely strong. We have found she walks much better on a gentle leader than a traditional leash. She needs someone with German Shepherd breed experience and allow her time to open up to you and show you her sweet nature. She is new to us, so there are things still unknown as far as her likes and dislikes, she has not been around children yet and would do best in a home without other dogs. She is currently healing from a skin infection, so her haircut is a bit different, but will grow back and she will be even more beautiful than before. DOB 10-8-14 93 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Moose is 2 years old. He has alot of energy. He can be a little aggressive and anxious when first meeting people. Moose would prefer a spacious yard and lots of treats. He is better with males then females. He doesn't do well with other animals or children. He very trainable. It just takes a lot of patience.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained,
Story
Bella is a little over 18 months old and is a sweet, happy dog that needs lots of love and a back yard to run and play. She loves to cuddle and play with our other dog. She is very very loyal to my wife and our home. She is great with our 4 grandkids, ages 1-6. Bella is house trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. We have started traveling and would like to find her a home where she will be loved and taken good care of. She is an inside dog, but loves being outside in our fenced in backyard to lay in the grass or play. Bella will let you know if something or someone is outside, so would make a good watchdog. Give her love and she will 100% give it right back. No family tree papers.
