Story
Hera (brown & white female) and Hercules (black & white male) are sweet, beautiful and resilient pups! They have had a long journey with our rescue, and are so excited to find their forever home. Hera and Hercules are a bonded pair and looking to be adopted together. You won't find a more darling pair of pups! Read below for their story, and if they seem like a good fit, please apply at tgspca.org/dog-application These adorable pittie mix puppies came into the care of TCSPCA on 11/11/23, just a few days old. They were bottle-fed and cared for by their foster family until they were weaned and began eating solids. Being hand-raised from only days old, they are the most loving dogs and are just giant babies. They were adopted together at around 4 months of age in March 2024. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Hercules and Hera once again needed TCSPCA to be "home" and are back with their original foster family catching up, playing, and getting lovings. They are a very bonded pair as they have always been together since birth. They are looking for a home where they could continue to be together. They turned 2 in November 2025. Hercules is the more outgoing of the two. Despite him being a good-sized boy, in his mind, he is just a itty bitty lapdog! Hera is the calmer, gentler of the two and has the absolutely best snuggles (she thinks she is a bitty lapdog too). Both are potty-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained (but prefer sleep in the bed with their humans). Both love playing outdoors and love to play with toys or just laze around chewing on their bones or napping. They are great with other dogs and children. Hera and Hercules are fully vetted: spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, negative for HW, and microchipped. If you are looking to add gentle and loving furry family members, these two are as amazing as they come! If interested, please apply at tgspca.org/dog-application Our fosters are located in south central Kentucky, but we welcome out-of-state adopters and can work with families on transportation.
