Meet Olivia! Olivia is a playful, energetic girl with a huge love for toys and outdoor adventures. She’s happiest when she has something fun to do, whether that’s chasing after a ball, carrying toys around proudly, or bouncing around with her goofy personality on full display. Smart and full of life, Olivia thrives when she has both physical activity and engaging interaction with her people.
This active girl already knows cues like sit and is continuing to work on impulse control around toys and excitement. Olivia absolutely loves interactive games and can get excited during playtime. She’s very toy motivated and will sometimes race toward you in anticipation of the next throw, occasionally getting a little ahead of herself in her excitement. She does best during fetch when another toy is used to smoothly trade and redirect her attention between throws. Tug, fetch, and chasing toys are some of her favorite things, and she loves people who are excited to play right alongside her. Once she’s had a chance to burn some energy, her sweeter side really comes through, and she enjoys attention and spending time with people she trusts.
Olivia is looking for an experienced home that understands enthusiastic, high-energy dogs. She can get excited at the start of walks and may grab at the leash indoors while gearing up to head outside, though this behavior has improved a lot with familiar handlers and routine. Out on walks, Olivia is curious, alert, and wants to investigate everything around her, so she’ll need someone who can confidently handle her strength and excitement.
Because Olivia is athletic and able to jump surprisingly high, she’ll need careful supervision outdoors and a secure setup for exercise and play. She can also be cautious around unfamiliar people during walks and may need time to feel comfortable in new situations. With consistency, structure, and plenty of outlets for her playful energy, Olivia has the potential to be an incredibly fun, loyal, and rewarding companion.
