Kermit is a good-natured 2 year old bully breed who still has a little puppy energy. He is currently living in a foster home and gets along well with the other energetic dog in the house, but has shown a tendency to chase the cat. Kermit has made great strides gaining confidence and being comfortable traveling in the car and going to new places. He loves walks and does very well on a leash with a pinch collar. He is housebroken and rings the doggy bell to go outside. He is working on commands and manners and is learning quickly. He does well in a crate at night or while no one is home. Kermit would do well in a household that can offer him daily exercise, plenty of chew toys, and a fenced in yard. Given his size, Kermit does best with older children. If you're interested in Kermit, please fill out an application today. Story
Hi everyone! My name is Justice, and I'm an adorable 1-and-a-half year old pit bull mix. I came to the Humane Society of Elkhart County with all of my babies. I was a great mom to them, and now they've all gone to their forever homes. But I'm still here waiting for mine! My friends here at HSEC say I am a very happy girl who loves treats and toys. I have such a great time playing in our outdoor play yards, and I'd love to have a yard to play in when I get to go to my new home. I'm not too picky about the type of family to adopt me. I think I'd like just about anyone and anything! Well, as long as there's some snacks and playtime involved! If you'd like to meet me, I'd like to meet you! You can come visit me at the Humane Society of Elkhart County whenever they're open. I promise I'll put a big smile on your face!
