Story
CURRENTLY IN FOSTER IN SAN DIEGO     -Crate trained -Potty trained  -Walks well on leash and knows all essential commands.  -As he is still a puppy, with that he is curious about everything and can have some fear leash reactivity to other dogs, but handles corrections very well and settles quickly. As of now, it is only on occasion, (recent example: nighttime walk with a passing dog with a light up collar). -He has solid recall on leash to redirect or heel and respects boundaries well.  -He is learning the size of his big body and is so incredibly gentle, but a goof on occasion, as he should :)! -He lives beautifully with his 13 year old black lab brother. He is gentle, patient and kind towards him. Such a love! His foster mom gave a slow and structured intro over about a week and they became besties!  -Gus lives with other neighboring dogs of all sizes and ages and minds his business. He has gone on a couple of out of town vacations with his foster mom and needs structure through his safe space crate but loves the adventure and does well in the car. -His foster mom has prioritized cooperative care and he takes his grooming wonderfully and loves his morning/afternoon and evening snuggles! He doesn’t miss an opportunity to get some love ❤️!  -Gus will be the family protector and bestie and would thrive with anyone who understands how intelligent and sensitive Anatolian/Shepards are. There is no fooling them ☺️.   -Gus has so much love to give and would do best with anyone with a moderate to active lifestyle. He is also an excellent homebody! His foster family has helped Gus build confidence to settle and entertain himself with enrichment toys while learning self regulation. He is perfectly content with a 30-60 min walk once a day, adequate potty breaks, some lovin’, and a good honey collagen hide.  -Great with kids, tested 4 and up. Gus is always curious, but submissive and gentle around all other babies/kids, but only tested with 4 and up. He’s a huge (95 lb) puppy and is still learning his body/size .   May 18, 2026, 4:59 pm

Story
Meet Remi – the girl with the biggest smile and an even bigger heart Remi’s smile is absolutely unforgettable — that big, chunky pittie grin that melts you the second you see it. But behind that smile is a story of resilience… because this sweet girl has been let down more times than she deserved. Remi was once on the euthanasia list, where she was described as dog-friendly. She was pulled, only for that situation to fall through after placement, leaving her once again without stability. Thankfully, everything changed when an incredible foster in Portland, Oregon stepped up — someone who truly sees her, believes in her, and has even sponsored her professional training to set her up for success. Now, Remi is finally getting the chance to shine She is about 4 years old — the perfect age where she’s past the puppy chaos but still full of life, love, and personality. Remi thrives on connection and is happiest when she can be your one and only. While she can be selective with other dogs, she does best with slow, structured introductions and clear boundaries. (Dog parks are definitely not her vibe — but cozy nights, adventures with her person, and being your loyal sidekick? Absolutely yes.) Remi loves her things and is working hard on sharing — she’s made great progress thanks to training, and will continue to thrive with consistency and guidance. Because of this, we think she would do best in a home with no young children, where she can feel secure and understood. ✨ What makes Remi special: That BIG pittie smile Deep loyalty and love for her people Smart, eager, and already benefiting from training Thrives in a structured, committed home Ready to be someone’s whole world Remi doesn’t need perfect — she just needs her person. Someone who will continue to show her that she’s safe, loved, and finally home. After everything she’s been through… she deserves that more than anythingMay 18, 2026, 4:59 pm

Story
Meet Gilly 🐶 Gilly is the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying. He was recently saved from the euthanasia list at an overcrowded Southern California shelter, and while his story could have ended there… it didn’t. Now he’s safe in foster care, and every single day his personality shines a little brighter. At just under 2 years old and about 58 pounds, Gilly is still very much a big puppy — affectionate, goofy, and full of that happy, tail-wagging energy that makes life better just by being around him. He loves people, seeks out connection, and has that easy, joyful spirit that instantly makes you feel like you’ve known him forever. Like a lot of dogs who had to fend for themselves, Gilly is learning that he doesn’t have to worry about where his next meal is coming from. He really loves his food, and he’s currently in training learning how to share and feel more secure. He’s doing great with guidance and consistency. He’s also a sensitive boy under all that happy energy — loud sounds and new situations (especially things like the garbage truck 🥺) can feel a little scary to him, and he’s continuing to build confidence every day. With a patient, steady human, he truly blossoms. He’s currently healing from “happy tail” (because he wags that hard), but otherwise he’s healthy, handsome, and so ready for his forever home. Gilly isn’t looking for perfection — just someone who will understand him, continue his training, and love him through the rest of his journey. Gilly is: • Under 2 years old, ~58 lbs • Affectionate, playful, and people-oriented • A goofy, happy boy with a sensitive side • Food-motivated and working on sharing • Learning confidence with training and support • The perfect mix of fun, love, and potential 📍 Currently in foster care in Long Beach, CA 🚗 Transport available 🤝 Meet & greets encouraged If you’re looking for a dog you can grow with — one who will make you laugh, love you deeply, and look to you for guidance — Gilly might just be your guy.
