Meet Sophie (previously Floppy). This beautiful girl’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. Sophie was surrendered by a man experiencing homelessness who hoped she would find a better life than he was able to offer. Instead,  AT 15 months old, she ended up on the euthanasia list — her time was almost gone. Sophie was rescued just in the nick of time and is now thriving in her foster home. Her foster mom says that she is the sweetest, easiest dog.  She is very timid around loud voices or yelling. :(  The foster has 4 and 7-year-old children whom she is very submissive.  She is a sweet, submissive girl. Our dream home for her would be a home with at least one female, as she seems most relaxed around women. She is non-reactive in any way. Sophie is the perfect dog — happy, playful, sweet, and so loving. She is ready to bring joy to her forever family and deserves nothing less than the best. Located in Carmichael, CA. Transport is available in the US. Thank you for considering a rescue dog. October 21, 2025, 12:01 pm

Story
Pongo is a Shepherd Collie Mix who was pulled from Moreno Valley Animal Shelter and was there since the beginning of July. From Pongo's foster: " I had been visiting him at the shelter for almost 2 months and no interest.. I watched him get better from a virus and pull through and still no one. He was always so well behaved. Would sit when I asked. Was loyal on the first day I met him just chill and would do his business and come back to you and lay down below you. He's such a calm dog for being at such a loud shelter. Not reactive to people nor dogs. Walks well on the leash. Can you ask for more of a perfect dog??? He was scared of the stairs when he came home but conquered it like a champ on his first night! Pongo, you're such a great dog! You make me feel like I'm going to foster fail with you

Meet Bubbles — a bright, resilient little pup whose happiness shines through every challenge. UPDATE:  Bubbles surgery was a success! She can now put that behind her and set her sights ;) on her future and her forever family! Bubbles was born with a congenital eye defect and will soon undergo surgery to remove the affected eye so she can live a comfortable, pain-free life. Her rescue is covering the full cost of her medical care because every life matters — and she’s absolutely worth it. Her sibling, who shared the same condition, has already been adopted, and now it’s Bubbles’ turn to find her forever home. She may be small, but she’s got big dog energy! Bubbles loves to play with the big dogs and keeps up with them every step of the way. She’s affectionate, confident, and full of love — the kind of puppy who brings laughter and life wherever she goes. Her adoption fee includes a $250 spay deposit, which covers her spay through the Nevada Humane Society in partnership with the rescue — or can be applied as a credit toward a private veterinarian if preferred. Bubbles is ready to start her next chapter — one filled with love, fun, and the happy ending she’s always deserved.November 11, 2025, 3:13 pm

Story
This beautiful 2-year-old girl named Susie  was saved just in time from euthanasia at Downey ACC by  @savinggizmosfriends  in partnership with  @grandmasbarnrescueandsanctuary  . She is an is an independent, adventurous girl who loves the great outdoors. &#226&#152&#128&#239&#184&#143 She’s only 53 lbs. She’s sweet., dog-friendly and she’s doing her best to trust again. Susie was found as a stray and was so shut down in the shelter. Quiet, scared, pacing softly in her kennel. The world felt like too much… until the right people saw her, and said: “Not today.” She still needs a patient long-term foster or even better - a forever home. One thing’s for sure — Suzie is not a “crate life” kind of dog. She thrives with freedom, fresh air, and humans who understand her confident, spirited nature. She’s scared at first and howling needs time to warm up but once you gain her trust, she’s pure love. She needs someone patient, gentle, and kind. If that’s you, please reach out. Currently being in a temp foster home, but still seeking a longterm or permanent place to land.  October 15, 2025, 12:29 pm

Story
Hi!  My name is Stella. I am a 2 yrs old spayed Shepherd mix and I am 45 pounds. I was rescued at the very last minute of scheduled euthanasia at the highkill shelter in Los Angeles! Thanks to AllJoy4paws Rescue for saving my life! I am currently learning to live my best life with my foster family in San Diego. This is what my foster mom says about me: PERSONALITY: Stella is such a beautiful girl packed with personality.  Stella is an affectionate, sweet, loving, and spunky girl.  She is curious, has lots of energy, enjoys playtime, and loves attention. In fact, she wants ALL of the attention.   She wants to please and is very eager to please.  Whether it is going on long walks, or adventures outside, she will be ready to join in on the fun.   Stella benefits from mental stimulation and is a quick, and eager learner.  She knows the command “sit” when presented with her food or a treat. She is potty trained, has all her shots, is on flea medication, and is spayed. She has been learning to relax in the crate.  If she needs to be left alone, she doesn’t seem to mind napping in her comfy crate.  She has been fine left alone at home without being inside of the crate, but the crate is beneficial for her to relax.  She sleeps in the crate at night. Stella will prance and nudge your hand and want to be your companion, she is non-aggressive and bonds fast. BEHAVIOR: Don’t judge this sweet girl.  She may seem overly excited but that is because she is only 22 months old.  She is strong and has a deep voice. Stella is living with her human mom and dad, human brother and sister, and her 18 pound Maltese mix doggie brother named Charlie.  Stella is learning to share with Charlie.  She plays appropriately with him.  She can get jealous at times.  Charlie is quite smaller than Stella, and Stella likes to use her front paws to play with him.  She opens her mouth over him, and although it looks scary, she is only trying to tease him. Stella engages and initiates play activity with Charlie and will sometimes even jump over him.   She is polite and will not beg for food. Stella likes to relax on her dog bed, in her open crate, or anywhere on the floor. She redirects well and will listen to the command “Off” as she is learning not to jump on people nor the inside furniture.  She listens well and is learning not to go up the steps, and is learning not to sleep in Charlie’s bed. Stella needs a forever home, to be an inside dog (with access to outside) with a loving family that is willing to walk and exercise with her. Although she loves dog companions, if she gets lots of human attention, she will also do well as the only doggie in the house. She is learning proper leash skills.  With additional leash training, Stella will make a great addition to a fur-ever family. Currently being cared in Southern California, Stella is ready to embark on a new journey, willing to be transported to everywhere within the US continental, where a wonderful, suitable family awaits to shower her with love and care, and give her the life she deserves.
