Story
Cera is a petite 10-month-old pup with a huge personality packed into her short little legs. Equal parts cuddle bug, playful goofball, and tiny protector, she has quickly become a favorite thanks to her silly antics and lovable spirit. Around her foster home, she’s affectionately known as “Potato” and “Cray Cray,” and once you meet her, it’s easy to understand why. Cera absolutely loves chew toys and would happily spend hours testing every toy she can get her paws on. When she’s not busy chewing, she can usually be found showing off her adorable zoomies, especially if someone is chasing her around the yard. She’s playful and spunky but also knows how to relax, happily entertaining herself with a toy before curling up for cuddles and a movie. She is crate trained, house trained, and has done well with both dogs and cats in foster care. While Cera can be a little nervous around new people at first, she warms up with patience and does best in a calmer environment with older children who can respect her space. Though small in size, Cera has a big personality and a touch of “Scrappy Doo” energy—part fearless watchdog, part snuggly best friend. She is looking for a forever home that will appreciate her quirky charm, playful spirit, and loving heart

Story
Gerald’s story could have ended very differently. When he arrived at the shelter, he was severely emaciated, weak, and could barely stand. He spent time under the close care of our veterinary team, who carefully monitored and nourished him through his recovery. Today, Gerald is healthy, happy, and finally ready for the forever home he deserves. At 6 years old, this sweet pit mix has already endured more than most dogs should — including recently losing an eye. But Gerald hasn’t let any of that dim his spirit. He’s resilient, loving, and truly one of the easiest dogs you could ever meet. Gerald is fully house trained, crate trained, and exceptionally well behaved. No jumping, no countersurfing, no chaos — just a calm, gentle soul who wants to be near his people. He takes treats like a perfect gentleman, loves kids, and is happiest curled up in a soft bed or stretched out in a sunny spot soaking up the warmth. After everything he’s been through, Gerald is simply looking for love, comfort, and someone to call his own. Gerald needs to be the only dog in the home, where he can finally relax, feel secure, and be the center of someone’s world. He’s happiest soaking up all the love and attention for himself — and honestly, he deserves it. If you’ve been searching for a loyal, laid-back companion with a heart of gold, Gerald may just be your perfect match.

Story
Winnie is a sweet, gentle girl who is ready to finally find the loving home she has always deserved. At just 1.5 years old and around 37 pounds, Winnie has already been through more than most dogs should ever experience. She arrived at the shelter at only 6 months old, scared, neglected, and unsure of the world around her. But during her time in foster care, her light has slowly returned, and watching her learn how to feel safe, loved, and happy again has been truly special. Winnie is the kind of dog who just wants a simple, happy life. She loves staying close to her people, quietly keeping you company while you work or relax. She enjoys soft toys, chewing on bones, chasing her favorite ball around the yard, and splashing in the water. She also loves quiet walks and becomes a wonderful walking buddy once she gets her excited wiggles out. At the end of the day, though, her favorite place is curled up beside her humans for snuggles and naps. Winnie is potty trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready for her forever family. She does well with other dogs when introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully. More than anything, Winnie is looking for someone who will love and adore her exactly as she is and give her the safe, happy life she has waited so long to find. She’s a sweet, innocent little soul with so much love to give — and she truly deserves the world. 🩷
