Story
Penny was dropped off at my mother-in-laws home back in late May. She is 96 years old and not able to care for Penny. The puppy picture in the listing was taken shortly after she arrived. I have had her in my care for a little over 2 months. She is a smart dog and very energetic. She has quickly taken to fetching and will bring back the ball most of the time until she tires. She is about six months old based on assuming she was about 6-8 weeks old when she showed up. I want to keep her but my wife is not in agreement. We are nearing retirement and want to do some traveling which makes keeping her problematic. I will not surrender her to a shelter or rescue for rehoming as I have to be sure that she finds a loving home. She would be an ideal pet for someone who wants an active dog for outdoor activities, and I believe she would be excellent in agility skills, etc.

Rosie’s mom passed away a couple months ago due to battling cancer, I stepped in for foster placement.I have worked with the Vet and hired a Behavorial Modification Trainer, and between our team it has been determined that Rosie does not thrive in a multi dog environment(3+ dogs), it’s too stressful for her.Rosie could be suited with another male dog, but she MUST be fed in separate spaces due to showing food insecurity behavior in a multi dog household. She spent her whole life in solitude with her favorite person.Rosie is a REMARKABLE dog, she’s smart- well trained, truly a gem of a girl! She is kind, gentle, intuitive. Rosie’s ideal situation would be someone that enjoys walks and cuddles! She’s a naturally laid back girl!

I’ve had Bear for about 4 years now. He’s a really good dog playful and loves his back scratch and his head rubbed and booty pats 😂. I hate to part with him but I’m in the process of moving and I want him to go to a loving home. Where he will be well taken care of and be able to run around a back yard and play with other dogs and cats. I would say Bear is about 3 to 4 years old his birthday is in April in think so he would be turning 4 next year. His shots are up to date so he won’t need shots till next year or it might be two years from now I’ll have his shot records ready for you. I have a cage and I also have dog food already for him. I’ve been getting him the science diet food ever since I brought him home. He is very friendly he might bark at you because he doesn’t know you but once he comes up to you he’s a sweetheart and he will let you rub him and pet him all day and don’t want you to leave. He is a very observant dog he will let you know if someone’s at your door beforehand.
