We adopted Kenai from his original owner a couple weeks ago. He is 1 1/2 years old. We were told he was always gentle and sweet. But we have a smaller dog who has received minor injuries, Not out of aggression but because Kenai is just too big and excited for our frenchie pug. They love each other but too much of a size difference. He has minor resource guarding and anxiety. Has some stranger danger. But can warm up to you pretty quickly with patience. He is a very sweet and loving boy. He loves other dogs and cats. He wants to play all the time with everyone. He just needs a home where he can be properly trained and maybe some friends big enough to keep up with him. He is also very energetic and needs a lot of attention and exercise. He is a demanding breed combination who needs an experienced dog owner who can train him in the right environment. This is urgent as we don’t want anymore accidents happening. Well hello there! It's nice to meet you. My name is Zombie, but don't be afraid. I'm a really sweet and silly guy who just likes to snuggle. I came to MVPC severally underweight, but I have been on a strict feeding plan and am packing on the pounds. I'm almost back to my ideal size. I'm also working on learning all the "good dog" stuff because no one ever bothered to teach me much before. It's going well, but I do get distracted at times because I'm feeling so much better and I just want to zoom and play. I'm looking for a family that will give me lots of lovins but will also continue to help me learn all that I missed out on. A patient doggy pal would also be awesome! ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 10/20/2024 FENCE: No Fence preferred as I view them as a challenge.
