Story
Hi there! I'm Aiyana! My foster folks say I'm a little princess, and I'm looking for my new castle complete with my royal family.
I'm a tiny girl, but believe me, I'm twice the dog I was when I got to MVPC. Literally! I had been abandoned behind a vacant house, and I was severely underweight and missing a bunch of my hair. Even worse, I had a nasty injury to my rear foot and it was thought that I would need that leg amputated. My Vet said he thought I had got it caught in a trap. Luckily for me, my Vet and my foster mom worked really hard to heal my foot and get my leg back into shape. I get around just like any other dog! I can run and jump like a champ!
I'm a SUPER sweet girl who adores my humans (kiddos too) and love other dogs. Snuggle times are the bestest. I've got my basic commands down and am working hard on my leash manners. Those snackies I get for being a good girl sure help!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
