Story
This is Harley! He was rescued by his current foster. He’s been undergoing training for basic obedience skills and has been excelling! So far Harley has been exposed to cats and children, and has done excellent with both. He has not been introduced to dogs yet, but shows no signs of aggression. We believe he would be a great playmate to another dog. He is currently unfixed, but he is still a bit young to undergo the surgery. He approximate his age to be under 1 year old - usually we like to wait until after 1 year, but that would be up to the adopter. He has had his rabies shot and is scheduled to have his others shortly. We will pay for neutering! He is potty trained! Very energetic and would do well with an athletic household or somewhere with a place for him to run. An absolute sweetheart that is eager to please. Come meet him and see if he would be the right fit for your family! Comes with a bed, collar, leash, toys, and food.

Rose is playful, loving, and intelligent. She loves to play with toys and go for walks, but is also content to snuggle on the couch and have treats. She gets along well with other dogs and with cats. Rose is well house-trained and crate-trained, knows basic commands, and is not destructive. She is a sweet girl who would make a perfect companion for an individual or family.

Hello potential human parent - my name is Reaper. I got my Halloween themed name when I was pulled from the shelter in October. I'm really NOT scary! I am a good boy who just has a lot to learn about being a 4- legged family member. I am a skinny, little fella who is trying to get fattened up. I am doing pretty good at housebreaking and crate training. I am learning some basic commands. I am working on trying to figure out this whole leash thing, but I have to admit.... I'm not a fan just yet!! I love having other dogs around. This is going to be important for me because I've got a lot of playing and learning to do. If I sound like your kind of Halloween, make sure to apply! I can't wait to find my human!! ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 5/20/2025 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME - If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies.
