Story
Moose is finally ready to find a place to call home. This handsome guy, estimated to be 6–7 years old, has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure. The scared, uncertain dog he once was is gone, replaced by a confident, loving companion who now knows what it feels like to be safe. Wherever Moose goes, he wins people over. With his confident trot and charming personality, he's impossible not to notice. He's a mellow, easygoing boy who loves being close to his people—honestly, "Velcro" might have been a more fitting name! Moose's highlights: Housebroken Crate trained Walks nicely on a leash Loves car rides Good with children Good with other dogs Low-key and easygoing While toys aren't really his thing, he'll happily enjoy a good bone. His zoomies typically last about 30 seconds before he's ready to curl up on the couch and relax for the rest of the day. Moose is the total package: sweet, loyal, gentle, and grateful for every bit of love he receives. Now all he needs is a family of his own. Story
Its momma Viva’s time to find the forever home she has always deserved. At approximately 6 years old, this beautiful brindle girl has clearly spent her life being used for breeding — but those days are officially behind her. Now it’s Viva’s turn to be spoiled, loved, and treated like family. Viva will be spayed in a week and is already up to date on vaccines, 4DX negative, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives. This sweet girl absolutely adores people of all sizes and will do just about anything for a snack. After arriving to us severely emaciated, we can’t really blame her for occasionally trying to counter surf for food. She’s learning that meals will always come consistently now. Viva is: • Good with other dogs • Loves cats • Obsessed with playing ball — whether it’s with her people or entertaining herself • A professional couch potato She is still working on crate training and would benefit from some continued basic training, but overall she is a loving, easygoing girl who just wants comfort, kindness, and snacks. After spending years giving everything to everyone else, it’s finally Viva’s turn to be someone’s baby. Visit our website to apply: www.outcastrescue.com PA Kennel License 16187 July 7, 2026, 9:53 am

Story
Reintroducing Irene Irene came to us from ACCT Philly with what we originally thought was just excessive skin flaking. After months of treatments that weren’t helping and a visit to the Dermatologist, we finally have answers. Irene has been diagnosed with non-epidermolytic ichthyosis. So what does that mean for Irene? Non-epidermolytic ichthyosis is a genetic, incurable skin condition that causes dry, flaky, “fish-like” scaling on the skin and coat. While there is no cure, it is manageable with consistent care. Irene will need regular topical treatments including moisturizing shampoos, emollients, and essential fatty acid supplements to help maintain her skin barrier and keep her comfortable. What this means for a future family is simple — sometimes Irene will have flare ups that cause large flakes of skin. She needs a home that understands her condition and is willing to help manage it so she can continue thriving. And Irene is SO worth it. She currently lives with both small and large dogs as well as cats. Irene does best with slow introductions and a proper shutdown period because her excitement can sometimes be misunderstood. Once she settles in, her personality shines through. She would thrive with an active family committed to continuing her training and helping her work on her manners. We would absolutely love to see Irene in a local foster-to-adopt home while she adjusts and settles into her new life. Please share Irene — it’s finally her time to shine ✨ Visit www.outcastrescue.com  to apply PA Kennel License #16187   July 7, 2026, 9:53 am
