Story
Meet Phineas – Energetic & Loyal German Shepherd Phineas is a ~3.5-year-old German Shepherd with a lot of energy and a strong, loyal personality. I adopted him from a shelter at about 18 months old and have had him for 2 years. He is neutered, crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, break, leave it, and is improving with heel. He’s very food-motivated and responds well to training. Phineas is playful and gentle with familiar dogs—he does great with our small Jack Russell—but can be defensive toward unfamiliar dogs on leash, so he’ll need an experienced owner willing to continue training. He needs plenty of daily exercise, consistent structure, and ideally a secure fenced yard. Phineas bonds closely with his person and will be a very rewarding companion in the right home.
