Story
Khoji was acquired as a puppy and is almost 3 years old. He’s a Pitbull/Staffy/American Bulldog mix with an incredibly loyal, affectionate personality and a very human-focused temperament. Adjectives that best describe him are intelligent, gentle, goofy, devoted, calm, playful, emotionally intuitive, and well-mannered. He is fully house trained, kennel trained, trustworthy loose in the house all day, and has no destructive habits or behavioral issues. He’s great with cats, dogs, and kids, travels well, walks nicely on leash, and loves games like fetch and tug-of-war. He’s extremely smart and enjoys learning and interacting with his person, but also has an excellent ability to relax and settle in the house. Khoji is the kind of dog people picture when they imagine having a true companion. He bonds deeply with his people and genuinely wants to be involved in everyday life, whether that’s outdoor activities, relaxing at home, riding in the car, or simply laying nearby.

Story
Bronx was born on April Fool’s Day in 2017. We adopted our goofy pup at 6 weeks old, and now he’s 9! He has spent his whole life in our home, but with multiple jobs and a new baby, we know he isn’t getting the time and attention he deserves. It breaks our heart to re-home him, but we know its best for him.He does great with older kids, but struggles around babies and toddlers who don’t understand boundaries yet. He is incredibly sweet and loving, and we’d prefer he goes to a home with older kids or no kids at all. Adoption fee is negotiable — our biggest priority is finding him a safe, loving home. We’ll provide everything we have for him: beds, blankets, toys, supplies, leashes, sweaters/coats, and more. We also have a 10' sliding glass doggy door insert if interested. He eats Iams Advanced Health Dry Dog Food ($60 for a 36 lb bag that lasts around 3 months). We’re hoping to find him a family with a backyard or land where he can run and play fetch. He is athletic, but also pretty chill.
