She came to rescue through a local Vermont case feeling scared and unsure of the world, but with the love and patience of her foster home, she has blossomed into a happy, affectionate, and more confident little girl. Now Rosie is discovering just how wonderful life can be. She is playful, loving, and absolutely adores cuddling up with her people. Watching her grow has been nothing short of amazing, and she is ready to continue that journey with a forever family of her own. Because she is still so young, Rosie will need an adopter who is committed to helping her keep learning and thriving. She will need continued support with house training, crate training, basic manners, and positive socialization. With consistency, patience, and love, Rosie is going to grow into an incredible companion. Rosie is currently being fostered with school-age children, cats, and other dogs, and she is doing great with everyone. Because of her young age and ongoing puppy training needs, a home without toddlers would be the best fit for her right now. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and will need her remaining puppy vaccinations as she continues to grow. Rosie is more than ready to find her forever family, one that will give her the love, patience, and guidance she deserves. Rona is a 4-year-old spayed shepherd who loves every human she meets, including children. Calm, well-mannered, house and crate trained, and non-destructive, she’s happiest simply being with her people. She enjoys walks, lounging on the couch, and the occasional game of fetch. Rona needs a home without other pets. She’s muzzle trained for safe outings and walks nicely on leash but would love her own fenced yard. Currently living in a kennel, she’s ready for a soft place to land.
