Story
Mouse is almost 6 months old and looking for his forever home. He has shown great strides, building confidence and he would love to be in a home where he can continue to grow. Fearful dogs, like Mouse, crave a home with guidance and structure. We think Mouse would do best in an adult only home and would benefit with having another friendly, easy going dog in his new home. If you think you could offer Mouse a good home, fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt.

Story
Nena, she has two different color eyes, she loves tug with her squeaky stuffies, shes a pick eater who seemingly likes chicken, she loves giving kisses and cuddles (she's a lil dependent), she hates to potty with the halti on and is a track star... Not sure where she's trying to go though. She's got a pathetic bark that she doesn't use often. Basically she's perfect. Nena is a 4 yr old spayed female pitbull terrier. She came to us because the original owner didn’t know how to care for her so he was going to shoot her. I can’t even imagine!! She’s so sweet and has been a fast learner! She’s great with other dogs and sweet as can be. She would do good in most homes. She’s been around cats before and was said to ignore them, but we will verify that before going to a home with cats. She is a sweet natured girl who deserves the same in her human. If you’re interested in meeting her apply to adopt at www.PottersAngelsRescue.org

Zeke is a wonderful loving dog. He is housebroken, crate trained, good with dogs and does well on a transitional leash. He is up for runs if you are. However he is happy with shorter walks or on rainy days cuddling on the couch with you. Cuddling is his number one favorite activity! He’s 2 years old and 40 pounds, but needs to gain some weight. Story
Blue is a 2-3 year old, neutered Pit Bull mix who has basic house manners.  He was a one-owner dog in a great home until a few weeks ago. We thought he'd be great for us with our other dog, but we later found out due to dog reactivity he will need to be a single-dog home. He seems to be insistent on being alpha and doesn't seem to respect a female owner. He's shown dog reactivity, and recently some aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. He's incredibly smart, super trainable, and has been very sweet in-home, friendly with people and kids. He needs a place where he can get his energy out and loves to sleep and snuggle. Blue is such a special, sweet pup!   This is a courtesy post.  Please contact Jo Lord at jolordbills@gmail.com or call 212-203-5909 with any inquiries. Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life. Trust us, it'll be a decision you won't regret. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1714321##

Story
Hi there, I'm Moosca! I'm young, full of life, and a bundle of joy. I'm a goofball who loves to play and explore. I'm curious about everything around me, and my brave spirit helps me take on the world with a wagging tail. I can be gentle and mellow, so you don't have to worry about me getting too rowdy after I have been properly exercised and played with.. I'm smart, too, and I love learning new things. I'm independent but I also love cuddles and being loyal to my human friends. I'm energetic, always ready for a game of fetch or a walk in the woods. I promise to fill your life with laughter with my funny antics. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who loves everyone and everything. Adopting me means endless love, loyalty, and fun-filled days. I promise to be the best friend you could ever ask for. Moosca is approximately 1 1/2 year old neutered male.  I even love my vet and the vet staff!!!  I am kennel trained.  I am a very good boy. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. YELENA was saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024. She along with 3 other pitties that he was saved were extremely emaciated with pressure sores that and we are happy that they have all gained weight and healed and ready for their perfect forever families and homes. YELENA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of 4 April 2021 and in April 2024 weighed of 46 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. After being here for just over a month YELENA has done amazing, she has gained weight and looks great, her personality is all playfulness and love, she loves toys, loves to chase balls, loves to throw her toys up in the air whilst playing is so affectionate, loving and gentle.   She deserves an extra special family who can give her the life she deserves and help her forget the abuse, neglect and starvation she has suffered. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue   YouTube channel   and    photo albums on our Facebook page    to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. YELENA is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a  reduced adoption  fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - We do not have cats in the kennels and are not able to say how our dogs are with cats. Story
Nugget is a 3 year old, 47 lb Boxer mix. He does great in a crate and is housebroken. Nugget walks well on a transitional leash. We think Nugget would do best as an only pet. He is a bit timid around new people, so slow introductions will be needed. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt
