Story
Meet our sweet and spicy girl, Cinnamon! Cinnamon NEEDS a foster home but what she WANTS is a forever home. While she is currently being well taken care of while boarding at Blue Ridge Canine Safehouse, nothing is compares to a home of your own. Cinny (as she likes to be called) is an older lady who loves the finer things... cozy beds, softer foods, lots of naps and, of course, snuggles. She's quiet, polite, potty trained and well, pretty darn close to perfect. Unfortunately, her past life has made her a bit nervous meeting new people, but she shines in a low foot traffic home traffic home with limited social requirements. At her age, Cinny is low activity. She would much rather snooze on a bed in a sunbeam peeking through a living room window than exercise. We can't blame her though. In dog years, she could be a founding AARP member. But hey, age is a number and hers is unlisted! (Don't tell her we said she's old. I don't want her to look down her snoot at us.) Cinny needs to be an only pet. No exceptions. We know that's hard, but we believe this sweet girl deserves to enjoy her retirement exactly as she has planned. BUT Cinny is lonely and would LOVE human companionship. She has been overlooked for YEARS - It's her turn!! Please help us find a place for Cinny. Even just a foster home. All she wants is peace and quiet, snacks and ear scritches. (Same, Cinny, same. ) Maybe you know someone low-key with no pets who would be a wonderful guardian and companion for an old gal. Share her! Operation Find-Cinny-A-Sofa starts now!

Story
Meet your Royal and Regal Ruler, June! Her Majesty June has been ruling this Kingdom for several years now, she's around 11 years old and more than fit to lead such a community of animal lovers. June loves her loyal subjects (especially the human females), but can be a little shy of new human males- what if they just want her for her crown?? We were told that she has previously lived with children and did okay, as well. Her Majesty is well behaved in her "palace," where she is crate trained, doggy door trained, and displays the best manners that anybody of royal background could have! As a ruler, June likes to get out into her Kingdom to ensure everything is running smoothly and that the citizens have no issues that are being ignored- because of this, June certainly loves a good carriage ride in your car, and likely wouldn't say no to a pup-cup here and there.... Her Majesty June not only has excellent car manners, but does well on a leash too, which is great for exploring the less-carriage/car-accessible areas of the Kingdom. As she looks for a new castle to call HOME, June would like one that does NOT have any feline friends, and while she enjoys the company of some male FURends, June would prefer to not have to share her throne with anybody! If you're looking for a sweet, low energy, low maintenance queen to rule your Kingdom, June is the gal for you!

Story
Are you on a mission to find an out-of-this-world pup to traipse across the galaxy with, fighting crime and saving lives? Look no further- Xena "pretty-much-a-warrior-princess is here! At approximately 1 year old, Xena is a hero in her own way! She has battled the hard fight of being a young outside dog that was underweight and unwell, and is now living on top of the world as a spoiled foster girl! Once reserved from her past, Xena has chosen to not let her hardship define her and continues to come out of her shell, letting her true princess mentality shine! She has developed a lot of confidence from her foster sibling and would thrive in a house with fur siblings that would provide that same boost she needs to feel comfortable. It would also help Xena in understanding the rules and having someone to take those journeys with her as she springs to action! As many warrior princesses are, Xena is young, energetic, and full of life. She LOVES to romp and play, and saving the world from evil injustice's is of course on her bucket list. She is housebroken and does amazing with routine. With her being so young and new to her role as a warrior princess (WP), she is still in WP training and will require crating when not being actively supervised. The great thing is, she loves her crate and does phenomenal with a nice bone or frozen kong to keep her occupied as she plans her next quest. If Xena sounds like the warrior princess you've been searching for, then apply for her here!
