Bruno is a sweet, sensitive guy. He is not a huge fan of being here at the shelter and therefore has been spending some time with a loving and caring foster. He loves the outdoors and often enjoys lounging outside and soaking up the sunshine. He is a calm soul who enjoys peace and tranquility and would love a home where he can lounge, relax, and take it easy. Bruno is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. You can meet him daily at the CASPCA between the hours of 12-6pm. For more information, email adoptions@caspca.org

Story
Meet Jet! ✈️ This handsome guy is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd mix who came into our program after a very unfortunate situation. Jet was part of a hoarding case over the summer — but lucky for him, he found his way to DDBBR and is now loving life in his foster home! You’d never guess that Jet spent most of his young life trapped in an outdoor kennel with no door — no way in or out. His personality couldn’t be more different from the life he came from. Jet is outgoing, goofy, and incredibly friendly. He loves meeting people and other dogs — playing, romping, and soaking up all the attention. Jet has attended adoption events and is always polite and social. He’s a total pro at public outings and even rides in the sidecar of his foster’s motorcycle — talk about a cool dog! One of our favorite things about Jet? His ears! They go every which way and give him the funniest, most endearing expressions. As much as Jet loves his foster home, it’s time for him to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and adventurous companion, Jet might just be your guy! Story
Meet Gunner! 🐾 Gunner is an incredibly sweet, gentle soul who may be a bit shy when you first meet him—but don’t worry, that quickly gives way to his natural curiosity and charm. Once he’s comfortable, his personality really shines! According to his foster family, Gunner is wonderfully easygoing and confident in the world around him. He’s not bothered by passing cars or new people and stays calmly aware of his surroundings in a relaxed, thoughtful way. Such a good boy! Gunner is still adjusting to home life and has had a little trouble sleeping through the night, but we’re confident this will improve as he settles into a stable, loving forever home. He does well with other dogs and hasn’t been cat-tested yet. If you’re looking for a sweet, chill companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Gunner might be your perfect match. 💙🐶

Story
Don't you just want snuggle up with a fluffy teddy bear?? OSO would be the perfect buddy! He's a German Shepherd/Chow mix who's approaching senior at about 6.5 y/o. He's pretty easy going most of the time and seems enjoy doing his own thing. He LOVES car rides and squeaky toys! He's good with kids 8+, but we don't recommend a household with kitties. He kinda just wants to amble around, go for some chill walkies and get pets! Oso recently went into a short-term foster where we found out LOTS about him! • He's good with other pups! • Probably NOT great for an apartment/townhouse scenario. While he doesn't bark incessantly, he does when he's excited - he's a big boy! • Loves his dog toys, playing wrestle-mania with the other pups • Seems very attracted to....cows?? Beelines it on walks to investigate them, though is not aggressive! • Still probably not a good idea to mix kitties in the home as he tried to chase the outdoor ones! • Totally crate-trained • Has excitable, playful moments, but chills down nicely at night for peaceful snoozes. • He's a total, loveable GOOBER! Come visit Oso on our Dog Adoption Floor! updated 02/11/26

Story
Meet Mexx. Mexx is a good boy. At 9yrs old, this senior is looking for a soft place to land in a quiet home where he can be comfortable and loved. He's a very stable Shepherd, but due to his age would likely enjoy not having to deal with young dogs or kids! UPDATE: With a little detective work and the power of social networking, we were able to uncover Mexx’s background... and wow. Mexx wasn’t just any puppy; he was imported from the Czech Republic and is the offspring of one of the top sport dogs in the world. His sire is Extreme Orex Aykmar, widely regarded as one of Schutzhund’s greatest dogs. After spending a good amount of time with Mexx, it shows. Strong pedigree and solid genetics create a dog that is stable, sound, and confident. Despite everything he endured before being abandoned at the shelter, not once - but twice!! Mexx has persevered and truly come out on top. He’s an absolute joy to have around, and as far as Shepherds go, he’s easily become one of my favorites. It really goes to show - sometimes (okay, most of the time) it’s not the dogs… it’s the people. Extreme Orex Aykmar https://youtu.be/84KHqKFRfZU?si=DR5bHHBL8aWhfu1r

Mirabella is AWESOME! She's an athletic and adventurous girl who knows how to have fun (we know the red herding ball hates to see Mirabella coming)! While she loves playtime, Mirabella is excellent in the home and thrives with a consistent routine. Mirabella is intelligent, and does well in training- she actually knows commands in German from her previous home! She knows "sit" and "down" very well in English, and picks up new tricks with ease. Mirabella is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. You can meet her anytime 12-6 daily at CASPCA, or feel free to email adoptions@caspca.org for more info!
