Hi there, my name is Lulu! I'm a 10 year-old spayed female Pit Bull Terrier. I am current on my vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative! 3 words that describe me: Cuddly, Spunky, Sweet Things my foster has to say about me: She's getting used to car rides and love pup-cups. She love walks and is SO GOOD with kids, even in groups. She seems to have a bit of prey drive (likes to chase after squirrels and bunnies in the backyard) She's such a sweetie and is definitely becoming one of our favs! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6/10 Housetraining Status: I was good at keeping my kennel clean but my foster mom says I need work on my potty training in my home. I'm getting used to my routine though! I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision in the beginning. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust because I did well in playgroups at CRHS. But, my friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats since I chase squirrels and bunnies in my foster home. My favorite activities are: I LOVE snuggling up with my humans and being involved in what they do. I love going for walks and really enjoy sitting out in the sunshine! Things I need work on are: Potty training routine Doggy day out notes: "Lulu is an nice and easy going dog. When on our walk she stayed by me and paid little mind to the 2 dogs that passed us and other adults. She did great in the car too. At Pet Smart we didn’t see any other dogs and the staff liked her. She allowed them to pet her. Overall, Lulu had a great day and is a relaxed, easy going dog." Hello, my name is Gwen! I'm an 8-month-old female pitbull/shepherd mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, and soon to be spayed and microchipped.3 words that describe me: Shy, Playful, AffectionateThings staff and volunteers have to say about me: I came to CRHS with my sister Mae Mae. Shelter life has been very scary for me, but I've been making progress every day! I love playing with toys and getting pets from people once I'm comfortable with them. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10Housetraining Status: I am working on it! A consistent schedule and lots of praise will help me learn. I should do well in a home: I lived with young children in my previous home so I should do well with children of all ages, however I would appreciate slow and calm introductions. I loved the cats in my previous home. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust.My favorite activities are: Playing with my sister Mae Mae and getting affection from my favorite humans. Things I need work on are: Basic commands, housetraining, and walking on leashAny special needs: N/ADoggy day out notes:"Gwen started her Doggy Day Out with a walk around Myrick Park, which she enjoyed. She was a little pully with the leash, so more work on that is needed. We then chilled at the house, which Gwen did very well in. She was behaved and not mischievous. We then went on another walk around Myrick. Then we went to Dairy Queen, where Gwen enjoyed a nice pup cup. We think she's a fan of frozen treats. We then walked around Petsmart for an hour. At first she was a little nervous, but she got comfortable quickly. She's a very sweet girl and loves to get pets from her humans.
