Hello, my name is Baby Girl! I am an 8-year-old female pitbull/english bulldog mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Playful, Affectionate, Cuddly Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm a sweet old lady who's looking for a retirment home! Despite my age I still have some energy when excited. I LOVE playing with toys and I'm not picky about what kind! I get very excited when hearing my own name. When I've had my fill of playing I'd love nothing more than to cuddle up with my human (though I may try to climb in your lap). Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6/10 Housetraining Status: I have been good at keeping my kennel clean, however it may take me some time to adjust to the schedule in my new home. I should do well in a home: I am required to meet any and all dogs in my potential home. I should do well with children of all ages. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Despite being a senior I still have a bit of energy and LOVE playing with toys! Things I need work on are: Basic commands, leash walking Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Went on a nice little walk and she was so excited she ran for a little bit, and played with toys later." "Baby Girl was sweet and kind as soon as we met her. She was thrilled to play outside but loved just laying and getting pets with us as well. She was calm and quiet, happy to just be with us. She’d be a perfect dog for any type of household!" "Baby Girl was an absolute gem on her doggy day out! She did very well in the car and LOVED looking out the window. When playing outside, she was very energetic and loved to play fetch and sprint around. On her walk, she was very curious about all her surroundings and had to take in all the smells. Baby Girl is a BIG cuddle bug when it comes to getting cozy inside. All she wanted to do was snuggle up on your lap or right next to you and receive all the pets and love. Baby Girl is also very curious and wants to know what you’re doing if you are not with her. She’s like your little shadow. Overall, Baby Girl is such a sweet girl and would make the best companion for whoever adopts her." **I am an extended stay friend at the shelter, therefore my adoption fee is 50% off!** Hi! My name is Zailey I am a 5-year-old, spayed Pit Bull Terrier. I am microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Playful, Affectionate, Goofy Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I am a goofy girl who is very food motivated and eager to learn! If you have a treat, I’ll do anything you want! I love going on walks and getting all my energy out. Once I’ve had my exercise I love to snuggle up on the couch with my humans. I would love an adult only home as I have boundaries that I need respected. Activity level/Energy Level (1-10): 7 or 8/10 Housetraining Status:I am working on it! A consistent schedule and lots of praise will help me learn even faster! I should do well in a home: I will need to meet any and all dogs in my potential household. I will need a home with adults only, and no cats or other small animals. Favorite Activities: Getting affection and following my favorite people around is the best! I LOVE to do tricks and agility if you have treats to offer me. Doggy Day Out Notes: This lovely girl did great on our day out. I think today was a much needed day away from all the chaos for her. She was great in the car, never barked, and was very affectionate with gentle kisses and lots of belly rubs while we hung out. She took a great nap in a cozy chair and then was charged up to play but never got too wild or crazy. Amazing dog and she would be an amazing sdekick!" "She is such a sweet dog. She loves looking out the window on car rides, and she even rolled down the window herself at one point. She was very treat motivated and sat, laid down, and did shake for a treat. She saw a ton of people today, she did great, was very sweet and wanted all the attention. She pulls a little on leash and gets excited especially when going in the pet store but she does listen well when redirected! She is a great dog!" "Zailey did so well today! She met a couple new people. She got a little chilly when we went to get coffee so we brought her back home and she curled up on the couch and took a big nap, she was snoring :) She did great with everyone she met and loved her new toy. She was so happy to be in a home setting, didn’t have any accidents all day!" "Zailey did so good on her Doggy Day Out. She seemed to enjoy her walk but did get cold so we kept it quite short and then we would drive around and do other short bursts outside. She also got a pup cup as a treat. She did pass another dog on our walk but did not react to this." "Zailey did really well today. Many people stopped to pet her and she was very sweet to them. She loved riding in the car, walking, and relaxing by the TV" "She wanted everyone to pet her and was very aware of her surroundings. Got lots of treats from the pet stores. Everyone that she got to meet loved her." Looking for a running or hiking partner? I'm your girl! I'm very friendly and love meeting new people Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8 or 9/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained, though it may take me some time to adjust to a new outdoor schedule. I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust.
