Story
Chucky is a petite little guy in need of a foster or adoptive home Chucky arrived in Wisconsin this past Wednesday, unpacked his bags, brought his best puppy-dog eyes, and fully expected someone to fall in love with him by now. Instead, this sweet boy is still waiting for a foster or forever home. Chucky’s story began just before Halloween when he was found abandoned in a box near a community mailbox. He was only 5-6 weeks old, covered in fleas, loaded with parasites, and struggling to survive. A kind Good Samaritan stepped in, and from that moment on, his life changed forever. With good food, veterinary care, and lots of love, Chucky blossomed into the happy, healthy pup he is today. Now all he needs is a family. At 8-9 months old and about 25 lbs, Chucky is the perfect size for just about any adventure. He’s playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being clingy, and always ready to make new friends. Dog friendly Loves toys and playtime Affectionate and cuddly Active and adventurous Well-behaved Ready to be someone’s best friend Chucky has never met a toy he didn’t love or a person he didn’t want to say hello to. He greets life with a wagging tail, a happy heart, and the kind of optimism only dogs seem capable of having. But right now, what he needs most isn’t another toy. He needs a couch to nap on. He needs a family to love. He needs a foster home willing to give him a safe place while he waits for forever. Foster needed ASAP Adopter wanted even more Chucky 8-9 months old Approx. 25 lbs Adoption Fee: $250 His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, UTD vaccines, and a current vet check. If you’re preapproved, send us a message. Otherwise, apply at newleashdogrescue.com and help give Chucky the happy ending he’s been waiting for. He’s survived being abandoned. Now let’s help him find where he belongs. ##2768662##

Story
Meet Ruby Part cuddle bug, part comedy act, part unstoppable little tank. Ruby is a 3-year-old, 41-lb tripod girl looking for her forever home. This sweet girl has already overcome so much in her short life. Ruby’s front paw had been stuck in an abnormal position and dragged when she walked, causing sores and infection. After surgery to amputate the leg, Ruby bounced right back like nothing could slow her down. And honestly? That pretty much sums her up perfectly. Ruby is VERY spunky and full of personality. She loves being outside, exploring the yard, trotting around with her happy grin, and showing off just how fast a three-legged dog can zoom. But once she’s gotten her sillies out, she’s more than happy to turn into a total cuddle bug. She’s dog friendly, very sweet, a good listener, and has the softest velvety coat. Seriously… petting Ruby is basically therapeutic. Despite everything she’s been through, Ruby wakes up every day happy, goofy, and ready to love life. She doesn’t feel sorry for herself one bit, and neither should you. She’s thriving. 3 years old Approx. 41 lbs Dog friendly Heartworm negative Spayed Tripod & thriving $200 adoption fee Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, UTD vaccines, heartworm test, and current vet check. Ruby is looking for someone who sees her not as “the dog with three legs,” but simply as the amazing dog she is. She’s ready for a family of her very own, a soft place to land, and a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and love. If you’re preapproved, message us. Otherwise apply at newleashdogrescue.com. ##2750272##
