Story
Barbie’s stunning icy blue eyes will melt your heart — but don’t be fooled, this girl is a whirlwind of fun and affection! She’s a high-energy love bug who dreams of being your ultimate lapdog... after she’s had her daily zoomies outdoors, rain or shine! She’s a sweetheart who adores scratches and is super chill with other pups — she’s the perfect playmate or snuggle buddy.   Barbie’s also a water lover and toy destroyer extraordinaire, so get ready for splashy fun and squeaky excitement! With leash manners on point and a solid “sit” and “no” under her belt, she’s ready to learn and impress (especially when treats are involved). If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and utterly charming companion, Barbie ’s your girl!   Est DOB: Feb 2023  *  Est weight: 55#  *  Breed unknown - guess based on looksDecember 25, 2025, 11:51 am

Story
Drifter knows one thing his people are known for - he enjoyed a life out and about. Now he's settled in the shelter, hoping for a savvy home that will love him and keep him safe.  What he doesn't know about huskies is that they are talkers and athletes - he is a chill, quiet dude. He also thinks he is a water dog! Drifter loves people enough that he will actually listen to things like sit and down, and he shows signs of being housetrained as well. He doesn't care to share his glorious self with other canines, so he needs to be the king of his empty (no other pets) kingdom.  Est DOB: Aug 2022 * Approx weight: 60# December 25, 2025, 8:00 pm

Story
Barnum is a beautiful Shepherd mix with a tender heart and a cautious spirit. Once feral, he learned to survive by relying on his instincts — and now he’s learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and understood. For the right person, Barnum will be an incredibly rewarding companion. But he isn’t for everyone. He’s for his person. Barnum becomes devoted to the person who makes him feel safe: offering gentle affection, leaning in for reassurance, and even rolling over for his favorite thing in the world — belly rubs. His mid-level anxious energy means he startles easily — even squeaky toys are a little too exciting for him right now. Barnum needs someone who understands that progress doesn’t happen overnight — but that small steps forward are victories worth celebrating. He will thrive with someone who will let him set the pace — whether that means giving him a little space or inviting him to cuddle when he needs reassurance. If you’re the patient, gentle, dog-savvy person Barnum has been waiting for, he’s ready to start that journey with you.
