Meet Corey – From Underdog to Unstoppable When Corey was found, he weighed just 25 lbs — all skin, bones, and untapped potential. Now healthy at 45 lbs, and glowing with life, this young but he’s quick to come around (especially if you have treats — he lives for them!). Once he knows he’s safe, his playful side shines through. He adores other dogs, loves his toys, and is always up for a good tail-wagging time. If you’re looking for a loyal buddy with a heart full of gratitude and a nose that knows where the snacks are, Corey’s your guy. Story
Barnum is a beautiful Shepherd mix with a tender heart and a cautious spirit. Once feral, he learned to survive by relying on his instincts — and now he’s learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and understood. For the right person, Barnum will be an incredibly rewarding companion. But he isn’t for everyone. He’s for his person. Barnum becomes devoted to the person who makes him feel safe: offering gentle affection, leaning in for reassurance, and even rolling over for his favorite thing in the world — belly rubs. His mid-level anxious energy means he startles easily — even squeaky toys are a little too exciting for him right now. Barnum needs someone who understands that progress doesn’t happen overnight — but that small steps forward are victories worth celebrating. He will thrive with someone who will let him set the pace — whether that means giving him a little space or inviting him to cuddle when he needs reassurance. If you’re the patient, gentle, dog-savvy person Barnum has been waiting for, he’s ready to start that journey with you. Story
Chase is a very special boy that has a very hard life. He came to us very malnourished and had an unfortunate accident that resulted in his back leg broken, then not only healing wrong but also fusing the knee. This causes his leg to stick straight out. Chase is a very happy boy and this doesn't stop him one bit. He can still get out and run with the rest of his siblings with no problems. He will need help as he gets older with arthritis and most likely hip dysplasia. Chase is also heart worm positive. He has been treated for his heart worms but he will continue to test positive until they all die out. Because of this it is extremely important for him to have heart worm prevention every month on time. No exception. If you want to meet this amazing resilient young boy, please put in your application to adopt. He deserves to have an amazing someone that wants to love, snuggle, sleep with and take care of him with must needed pup cups, treats and belly rubs.
