Sherpa came to us from a rescue partner in New Mexico and seems more than ready to embrace mountain life. With his athletic build, adventurous spirit, and constant need to be on the move, we have a feeling this boy was made for snowy trails, hiking boots, camping trips, and families who believe weekends are best spent outdoors.This young guy is a full-time goofball and a part-time tornado. Sherpa is boisterous, playful, and always ready to go, go, go! Whether it’s exploring new places, zooming around the yard, or making friends with anyone willing to join his fun, he approaches life with pure excitement. His happy smile and expressive little eyebrows somehow make all that chaos even more charming.Sherpa is still a young dog and has plenty to learn, so he’ll thrive with a family willing to continue his training, provide structure, and help channel all that husky energy into positive outlets. An active home is going to be key for this boy — he’s looking for people who want a dog to join in their adventures, not just be around them.We think Sherpa may do well with other friendly dogs who can match his energy-level and rowdy play style, but we always recommend proper slow introductions with potential canine friends.
