Story
Our beloved Luna is almost 6 years old . She came into our lives during COVID. We were dog sitting her for a friend who was moving. After a couple of weeks her owner had not come to pick her up. I called her owner and she said her new home would not accept dogs. My daughter begged to keep her and and she was so sweet that we adopted her. Luna is very smart, sweet, and loving but needs a secure yard or apartment as she will run off if given the opportunity. She requires an experienced handler as she doesn't like it when dogs bark at her during walks. She would make a great running partner as she loves to run in our fenced in yard. She loves to be an only dog but does enjoy living with her adult daughter who is a mix of Terrier and Husky. She is definitely a boss and needs a secure home where she can be protected from going out alone. She will soon be up to date on her vaccines.

Story
I inherited my Husky/Malamute mix at about a year old from a friend who could no longer keep her. She is now approximately 6yrs old. She is a great runner and loves the snow. She is fixed and will be up to date on her shots soon. She is also sweet and loves to snuggle but does not do well with other animals. Because she is aggressive towards other dogs I may need to surrender her. I believe she would do well with an experienced handler who likes to run and can keep her in an apartment where she cannot escape.
