I am a well-behaved, playful senior guy looking for a home to live out my Golden Years. I'm a gorgeous shepherd estimated at 9 years old. They say I'm a "senior," but I have a lot of spunk and a lot of love to give. I absolutely LOVE playing with toys and I have been a good boy with other dogs at the rescue! However, I am not a fan of cats. I landed at a county shelter in ruff condition, but thankfully Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue pulled me out of that scary place and gave me the medical and general care I needed to be ready to find a new home. My adoption fee has been fully waived thanks to a generous sponsor! I am up to date on my vaccines, neutered, dewormed, and microchipped, and ready to find my new home! This handsome blue-eyed gentleman came to us by way of Clewiston Animal Control, as they were out of space. He also came to us with a fracture of his right front paw. As we always do, we went the extra mile and then some for Liberty. He had an orthopedic consult with our favorite specialist in Naples. The consult led to surgery, an arthrodesis, and a very lengthy recovery period. Now fully healed, Liberty is ready to find a kind and loving forever home.
