Story
Zax is a 4.5 year old plush coat male who is heartworm positive and at this time, only available on foster to adopt basis in Volusia and Flagler County. He has to complete his heartworm treatment at our veterinarian in Ormond Beach and the rescue is covering all expenses associated with it. Zax has a heart full of love. He is incredibly sweet and gentle, and absolutely adores curling up on the couch for a good snuggle session. If you're looking for a loyal companion to watch TV with, he is your guy! He can be a bit shy around men at first but with patience and kindness, he warms up and shows his true affectionate personality. Once he trusts you, he will be your shadow quietly following you around and happily soaking up all the love you're willing to give. Zax would do best in a home that understands his sensitive side and is willing to give him the time he needs to fully blossom. He is crate trained, housebroken and just the best boy ever. In order to meet Zax, you must review our fostering/adoption requirements on our website at www.dbgsdrescue.org and if all met, send in an application. His adoption fee is $250.
