Story
Meet Pepper! Pepper is a sweet, gentle Husky/Lab mix looking for a loving forever home. He is extremely shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he is a loyal companion. One of Pepper’s best qualities is that he loves to stay by your side. He will calmly walk beside you without a leash and enjoys being close to his person. Finding the right home for Pepper is the most important thing. He would do best with someone who is patient, understanding, and willing to give him the time he needs to build trust and confidence.

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Nova. Nova is a 4-year-old, 50-pound Husky/Shepherd mix with beautiful blue eyes and an even more beautiful personality. Nova was saved from the euthanasia list at a county shelter after a flea allergy caused a secondary skin infection that the shelter was unable to treat. She has since been treated by a veterinarian, and her gorgeous coat is already growing back incredibly fast. Today, Nova is a playful, affectionate girl who loves attention and is always happy to see her people. She is especially silly in the mornings - she will slap her long yard stick legs on the ground when she play bows and give you a “pep talk” to start your day. When you come home, be ready to be met with plenty of love and tail wags. Nova is always eager to accompany you - whether it’s going on a walk, going on a ride to Starbucks, or just chilling on the couch watching TV. Her people are her whole world!  Being a husky mix, you can expect some classic husky traits: she’s talkative, expressive, smart and occasionally stubborn. Nova would do best with someone who has experience with huskies or similar breeds and understands their unique personalities. She knows some basic commands and would likely enjoy continuing her training in her forever home.  Nova is house trained, crate trained, and loves car rides. She also loves going on strolls through the neighborhood and walks well on a leash. Although Nova is very calm in the home, she does need daily exercise and mental stimulation.  With other dogs, she would do best as an only dog or with a calm, compatible canine companion. Nova lives with cats in her foster home and would do fine with confident, dog-savvy cats.  After narrowly escaping a heartbreaking fate at the shelter, Nova is ready for the part of her story she was always meant to have — a loving forever home. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area feel you’d be a great match for Nova, please complete an adoption application and tell us more about you.  August 13, 2026, 4:34 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application Balto is a handsome 1-year-old, 55-pound Siberian Husky with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of love. Sweet, affectionate, and a little goofy, Balto enjoys spending time with his people and is always ready to brighten your day with his playful spirit. He's intelligent, curious, and eager to learn, making him a wonderful companion for an active family. Balto is friendly with other dogs, does well with children, and has also lived successfully with cats. He has a great balance of energy and affection—happy to join you on adventures but equally content to relax and cuddle when the day is done. Because Balto is a true Husky, he is looking for an experienced Husky owner who understands the breed's unique personality, intelligence, and exercise needs. He does not tolerate being crated and has injured himself trying to escape one, so his future family will need to provide alternative management and a secure environment where he can thrive. Balto is AKC registered and was lovingly owner surrendered after the other Huskies in the home repeatedly picked on him. Through no fault of his own, he is now searching for a family that will appreciate him for the amazing dog he is. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and entertaining best friend—and have Husky experience—Balto may be the perfect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 12, 2026, 9:36 pm
