Story
Magnolia came to us after being found by animal rescue in July 2026, and her vet estimates her to be around a year and a half old. Magnolia is an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog, and we are heartbroken to have to rehome her. She was with a foster before coming to us, and they failed to disclose that she has significant separation anxiety. She isn't destructive in tearing anything up, but she paces/whines/yelps and jumps on any surface she can. She needs a home where someone will be primarily home with her, or only have brief leaves of absence, or someone able to spend the resources and time to work through her separation anxiety with her. I truly have no issues with her when I am working from home with her. She does love to jump on the couch and cuddle, so if you are not okay with that I would not recommend her. She does still have puppy energy, so we would love for her to go to an active home, preferably with no kids or older children.

Story
We adopted Dexter from a breeder in Ocala Florida, seven years ago when he was 10 weeks old, and he’s been such a joy to have in our family. Sadly, my husband passed away, and my three children are all grown up and off to college, so now I am left to care for two dogs. He’s a very sweet boy with tons of energy and needs more exercise than I can give him, due to a demanding work schedule and aLao especially since we live in a small home without a tiny yard. I really wish we could keep him, but I think he’d really thrive with other dogs his age, size, and energy level that husky have. Please let me know if you are interested in adopting Dexter. ~Melissa
