Meet the Lexington 12! This adorable litter of 12 made their way to Big Dog Ranch all the way from a shelter in Lexington, South Carolina. Sadly, they arrived without their mom, and no one knows exactly what happened to her. What we do know is that these pups were in need of care, comfort, and a second chance. Since arriving at the Ranch, they’ve received all the medical attention they needed and, most importantly, a whole lot of love. Our team has worked hard to show them the kindness and compassion people can offer, and these little ones have truly blossomed. Now happy, healthy, and full of puppy energy, the Lexington 12 are ready to find loving forever homes. They’re still working on their puppy skills, but with patience and love, each one is sure to grow into an amazing companion. Could one of them be the newest addition to your family?

Meet Mama Aspen! 💖 Hi there! I’m Mama Aspen — a gentle, loving girl with a big heart. I came to Big Dog Ranch Rescue as a stray from Alabama, pregnant and looking for safety. I raised my beautiful puppies with lots of love, and now that they’re all grown, it’s finally my turn to find a forever home of my own. I’m wonderful on a leash and really enjoy going for walks. I get along great with other dogs, adore kids alike, and my favorite things include playing with stuffed animals, cuddling up close to my human, and getting those irresistible belly rubs! I might not have much experience beyond being an amazing mama, but I have endless love to give. What I want most is a family who’ll snuggle with me, take me on walks, and make me feel safe and cherished. ❤️ Are you the one who’ll give me my forever home?

Due to the medical costs, her previous owner was unable to continue her care—but thanks to treatment and time, Ginger is now completely healthy and ready to find a loving home. Ginger is a super sweet dog and a total love bug who truly enjoys affection and being close to her people. She is high energy and can get excited easily, so she would thrive in a home with older children who are comfortable with a large, enthusiastic dog. Ginger benefits greatly from structure and a consistent routine, which helps her channel her energy and feel secure. She does well with other dogs, but can be a bit selective—she will do best with a canine companion who has the right temperament to match her playful, confident personality. With proper introductions and the right match, she enjoys making dog friends and socializing safely. With the right balance of activity, guidance, and love, Ginger is ready to be a joyful, affectionate companion who brings warmth and energy to her new family.
