***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Jerome Meet 1-year-old, 65 lb BLUE with the gorgeous healthy coat. He is a mix between a shepherd and a husky. DOB: 12/28/2022 BLUE is dog-friendly (submissive) and may have been taught several obedience commands like sit, paw, down, stay, and come, but will need a refresher. He may need more leash training too. BLUE has lived with small dogs before, but no small animals in his future. In his temporary foster home, we learned that he doesn't like chickens and rabbits. BLUE is a sweetheart that is food/treat-motivated to learn how to be an even better pup. BLUE's adoption will include health vaccines, rabies vaccine, health exam, neuter surgery, microchip and vet records. He then learned that they would just end their life, so he only had a few days to rehome them both. When he offered to drive them the 3.5 hour one-way trip and donate for their boarding and care, FFAR accepted them both. Owner eventually made the drive back up to pick up the smaller dog.

***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Jerome kennels Meet CINDER! He was 1 of 3 dogs (brothers?) recovered by volunteers from Interstate 84 near the west Twin Falls exit in early March. CINDER is about 2 years old. He is affectionate (think teddy bear), has a gentle mouth, and good on leash. He is obviously very photogenic! We would love a foster home for CINDER so that we can learn more about him and help him find a furever home. CINDER will be neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped for his forever family. ***NEEDS REHOMING*** Currently in Idaho Falls, ID Young, healthy, friendly, trained MILO needs a new home because of a recent family tragedy. For those that love this breed, he is a gem! MILO is a good boy with lots of great behaviors to offer his new family. He was 1 of the 7 husky-shepherd puppies that Friends Furever Animal Rescue saved when they were only 8 weeks old (Remember ARTIMUS, BEAUX, NETTIE, SITKA, etc.) MILO is dog-friendly and has been living in a house with a cat. He is crate-trained, but does well in the house with free-roam (for a while). He would do best in a home with at least one other dog to spend time with. He knows sit, stay, down, come wait, let’s go, and leave it. Like a typical husky, he can be stubborn and ignore commands. He is scared of the vacuum cleaner and unsure when meeting strangers. MILO likes playing with ball, plush/squeak/tug toys and plays fetch, tug and chase with his people. He loves going on runs. He is talkative and his play style may be too much energy for little ones. He will need a secure yard to keep him safe. MILO is OK on leash, but prefers off-leash walks with training collar. He sleeps through the night on a dog bed. MILO is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines (10/20/25). His vet records will be provided.
