Story
Nala is a beautiful 3–4-year-old long-haired German Shepherd who is incredibly sweet and loves being around people. She especially loves going for car rides and enjoys attention and affection. We recently acquired Nala through a private rehoming situation and are looking for a home that can give her the time, patience, stability, and care she deserves. She has experienced some stressful circumstances and is still adjusting, so she would benefit from someone who is patient and willing to help her build confidence and feel secure. Nala can be sensitive and become nippy when stressed or overstimulated, so we are looking for an experienced and understanding home that can work with her at her own pace. She also has a tendency to chase and bite at her tail when stressed. She is a very loving dog with a lot of potential, and we want to find her a home where she can feel safe, receive consistent care, and truly thrive.

Available 08/10/2026 This is Storm! He is a 4 year old husky. He is a very vocal dog so you will need to take appropriate measures if he is to go into an apartment. He is pretty active an he has the capability to be an escape artist. He would need to be in a home with older children or adults only. He is incredibly skittish around new people and needs calm and patience. Before he came to our shelter he was roaming on his own for quite a while before he was caught by another shelter. He seems to be with female dogs of similar size and with non-dominant males. Storm is a very good boy if given the time and attention he needs. He loves just being outside and exploring. He is very sweet once he gets to know you, also look at those gorgeous eyes! If you are interested come in and meet him!
