Story
Xena is a 5 year old purebred German Shepard, spayed. She takes a while to warm up to be people and other animals, but once she does she will give you all the love possible. She absolutely loves being pet & playing catch. She has done well around 2 kids, small dogs, a big dog, and a cat. (After some time.) She is very cautious of strangers, and will bark and try to nip as a warning. We think this is due to her not being socialized as a puppy due to covid. She has never bit anyone, but we usually only have family over. We have worked with her trying to get her used to people, but we lack the time and knowledge to do so. She needs a home with experience in socializing, and has the time to work with her. We are needing to rehome her for this reason, as we cannot give her the time and attention she deserves. She was purchased through a breeder in 2021. Birthday is 12/12/2020. She had her initial vaccinations, but has not had any since completing those in 2021 due to her social anxieties.
