Story
Zeus was dropped off at a rural high school. The staff and kids adopted him. Summer came and he needed a home. At the time I owned a farm and so I agreed to take him. He lived there with me and loved keeping me and my 93 year old mother-in-law company. He loved coming in the house and staying there during bad weather. He hates storms and hides in the closet, garage or barn. I have moved into a 55+ community and he has to live indoors in a much smaller space and with another dog that we have to separate from. He needs a yard to play in. He hasn't been socialized with other dogs and doesn't know how to interact with them and is skittish around dogs the few times I have been able to take him to the dog park. He is great with my grandchildren.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Jada and I’d like to take a second to introduce myself. It pains me to say it, but the humans have told me I’m now a senior dog. I know, it sounds like I’m old, but I swear I still have some spunk left! I love to hang out with my people and I’m happiest when I’m with them. I love to go for walks, but I don’t mind if we snuggle on the couch and eat some popcorn while we watch TV either. Cats are a lot of fun to chase, but the humans said I shouldn’t do that, so I am looking for a home without them because they are just too tempting! I can be a little selective about the dogs I like too, so if you have any other dogs at home, I will need to meet them first and make sure we can be friends before I come to live with you. Could I be a perfect fit for your family? Give my human friends at the Adoption Center a call at 859-873-5491 to learn more about me or to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Story
One of our partners rescued Wolfie from a terrible situation of neglect and pain. On Sept. 11th, Wolfie was transported directly to our vet, barely able to walk and covered in sores, scabs and blood. He had no fur due to a terrible case of mange and dermititis due to a flea infestation. We could not even tell what breed Wolfie was. Wolfie was immediately rushed into the isolation unit at the vet. Several days later, he was released from the vet and made it safely to FairyTails. His body told a story of neglect and struggle… but his eyes? They told us he hadn’t given up hope. 🥹 Since then, Wolf has been in quarantine, resting in an outdoor kennel where he could heal. He’s been on multiple antibiotics, eating tiny slow-feeder meals with supplements, and slowly discovering the comfort of toys and Kongs. Each gentle lick on our hand feels like his way of whispering: “Thank you for not giving up on me.” Rescue is never easy. It’s painful. It’s costly. But moments like these remind us it’s always worth it. Wolfie is now officially accepting applications! He is fully healed and ready for the next chapter in his life. His fur is growing in and he is gaining weight. He is happy and healthy, and now he is just waiting for someone kind to adopt him. But that’s not all — we’re thrilled to announce something special: Wolf will be the star of his very own book, complete with a plush Wolfie toy! 🐺📚 Soon, he’ll even be out signing copies — so stay tuned for updates on his journey from heartbreak to hope. We truly believe Wolfie’s story might be one of the most powerful we’ve ever shared. It’s a reminder that love transforms, healing is possible, and every life is worth saving. 💙 ➡️ Books are available now (book only orders here👉🏻 https://a.co/d/ilxCzXN). ➡️ Wolfie Complete set will be at FairyTails soon! Please email fairytailspetadoptions@yahoo.com to obtain an application or submit an Adopt A Pet inquiry. We will email you an application promptly. If you do not receive an application, please check your spam folder or call us at 859-744-7729. All rescues at FairyTails are fully ready to join your family! Our PETS come to you dewormed, fully vetted, spayed/neutered, dental exam, heart worm tested, flea/tick & heartworm monthly preventative, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, bathed and professionally groomed! They are housed either in foster homes or in house at our facility in warm, spacious suites, with plenty of food, water, toys and attention.
