Story
Kona is a very hyper and playful German shepherd/pit bull mix. She is wonderful with children, but would do best with older kids due to her size and energy. She lives with both male and female dogs, and does well, but when food is involved she has been known to try and assert dominance with the female. She harmlessly chases our cat, whom she has never hurt, but again would do best in a home without cats due to her size and energy. A large fenced in yard would do wonders to get out her energy, but she is very much a Velcro dog and needs someone with lots of time to play. Our home is very small so she does currently exhibit some anxious behavior (running circles, carrying around a support stuffy, and some whining when confined). We hope we can find her a home with the space and attention she deserves.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
She is bilingual, has a lot of energy. She needs someone that can take her out on walks/runs if not someone she can play with to get her energy out. She is outspoken and will tell you if she does not like something. She is friendly with other dogs and cats but I do not know with other types of animals. She jumps a lot, likes to play with her ball. Literally throws it up and then catches it. She plays by herself. Doesn’t like to be inside unless it’s for sleeping. She prefers the fresh air. If she is inside for too long she will cry for you to let her out. She likes it when you give her a massage on her hands and will lay until your done. She doesn’t like her nails clipped. I have to give her something to munch on while clipping her nails.. runs away from the brush. So please if you are interested you have to have the patience and time to give her love and be ready for her energy.Once she got her energy out she is very chilled.
