🚨 ELF NEEDS A CHRISTMAS HERO — OUR RESCUE WANTS TO SAVE HIM BUT WE CANNOT WITHOUT A COMMITTED PERSON Elf came into the shelter as a stray, and he has been the sweetest boy since the moment he arrived. He LOVES people, LOVES treats, walks perfectly on leash, and already knows sit. He is gentle, polite, and just wants someone to love him. But Elf is out of time. The shelter has marked him URGENT, and he will be killed if no one steps up. 💔 Our rescue WANTS to help Elf. We are ready to pull him — but we cannot do it without a committed person. If a person steps up, we can save his life TODAY. Elf deserves better than dying alone in a shelter. He has so much love to give and will make someone such a loyal, grateful companion. PLEASE — step up for Elf. Your yes is the only thing standing between him and death. HURRY TEXT KREN 4136298152

Story
🚨 URGENT ADOPTION/RESCUE POST FOR SASHA Sasha – Sweet, calm girl in danger and needs a HERO NOW Sasha is one of those dogs who steals hearts instantly. She is a very sweet, gentle girl who stays calm even in the stressful shelter environment. This beautiful girl LOVES treats, knows how to sit, and is excellent on leash — she follows along politely and just wants to be near her person. But despite being such an easy, loving dog… Sasha is in immediate danger of euthanasia due to overcrowding. She doesn’t deserve this. Not even close. ⭐ SASHA AT A GLANCE: • ❄️ Stunning Husky/Shepherd mix • ❄️ Very sweet & calm • ❄️ Treat-motivated & eager to please • ❄️ Knows sit • ❄️ GREAT on leash • ❄️ Friendly and gentle • 🚨 At risk of euthanasia — URGENT placement needed Sasha has so much love to give and is ready to be someone’s best friend. All she needs is a chance — a home, a foster, a rescue… someone to say “I’ll save her.” Sasha should not die in a shelter. She is too good, too gentle, and too deserving. PLEASE HELP 4136298152

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet GEYRAN! GEYRAN was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption before being sent with other rescued dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. They arrived in the US on 28th January 2025 and were transported to the rescue, where they are settling in. Health & Background &#226&#156&#133 Cleared by the US Canine Center for Diseases upon entry into the US &#226&#156&#133 Spayed &#226&#156&#133 Rabies and core vaccines up to date &#226&#156&#133 Heartworm and tick tested negative &#226&#156&#133 On monthly preventatives &#226&#156&#133 Microchipped &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 Weighs around 56 pounds Estimated DOB: 2 February 2021 Front leg amputee ‍ Mother of BINKY, who has since been adopted GEYRAN - FOSTER FAMILY UPDATE   We picked Geyran up at Give a Dog a Home rescue in Sebec on September 1st, and have fostered her for one week so far. She started out being clearly nervous and skittish around us -- and who could blame her after what she's experienced in the world so far? But it's been the most amazing thing to see her change from day to day, becoming more confident and loving and playful from one day to the next. This girl has a lot of love to give, and absolutely adores being loved on. While she still has a long way to go to being her most confident self, with the quick progress she's making, it's clear the only thing standing between her and her best self is a little time and a lot of love. Geyran happily sleeps in her crate with the door open during the night, doesn't bother you when you're still sleeping, and then comes to greet you and get some rubs when you get out of bed. She is a very clever girl, and despite having never lived in a home before, knows to only potty outside. First thing in the morning she follows close behind me to the front door, then goes straight outside to do her business. During the day she naps on her bed in the living room, and makes trips outside with us when we go out. She is a huge fan of taking a walk on the trail in the woods behind our house. We have been trying to convince her to take it easy with short jaunts only while she adjusts from a more sedentary life in the Oman rescue and GaDah rescue, to being more active. Geyran certainly seems to be good with other dogs, because she manages to get on with our dog Apollo, who has a fairly severe case of only-child syndrome and wants everything to be about him. While Apollo does resource guard us despite our best efforts, Geyran takes it in stride. While I don't think they'll ever be snuggle buddies, they get along as well as we ever could have hoped considering what a tough nut to crack Apollo is. Geyran does try to engage Apollo in play sometimes, but our snooty dog has mostly turned his nose up at her. The only chance we've had to see them play together is when we get either Geyran or Apollo worked up and when one starts to do some zoomies, then the other usually can't resist joining in and suddenly they are lapping the house together. When we bring Geyran into the bedroom at night to sleep, she first comes to our bedside to get lots of rubs alongside Apollo before we turn out the lights and she heads into her crate. She's come to love this routine, and she seems so happy when the both of us are giving attention to them together....I think it's her favorite part of the day. It's honestly been making it harder and harder to stop giving her attention and turn off the light each night. I hope someone out there will finally give this sweet, sweet girl the chance she deserves to find her family, and discover all that she has to give once she has a chance to settle down in her forever home.
