Story
Juni is a bright, curious, and affectionate Husky/Shepherd mix looking for her right forever home. She loves hiking and being outdoors, playing with her stuffies, snuggling with her people, and spending time with other dogs. She has shown positive, curious interest in cats and has a gentle, thoughtful way of engaging with the world. Juni has good off-leash recall, responds well to training, and is eager to please with or without treats. While she has had some leash reactivity with dogs, she has made steady progress and plays happily with other dogs off-leash. Juni does best with calm, thoughtful people who enjoy smart, active dogs and can offer steady routines, structure, and enrichment. She would likely be happiest in an adult-only home or with older, dog-savvy kids. We love Juni very much, and our home with a young child isn’t the best match for her needs—but in the right home, she has the potential to be a loyal and deeply rewarding companion.

Story
.Wowwy wow! Look at the fabulous Leia. This gorgeous gal is known to be an amazing pup when it comes to our staff and volunteers. One had decided to take her out for the day and explore the wonders of New Mexico. They had mentioned “she has a lot of energy after five minutes of rest after 7 miles she was ready to go again.” As well as “ she knows some commands like `stay` and ` let`s go` this was apparent when loading and unloading her into the car”. There is still so much to learn about this 50 pounds of love and it could be all yours!Leia’s adoption fee is $30. She is spayed, microchipped, and has received age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing fee may apply.

Story
Seeing Soldat is one that truly melts everyone’s hearts once you meet him and get to know him. This handsome man is a strong 6-year-old who is trying to navigate through life as he is visually impaired. But that doesn’t stop anyone from not only visiting but also interacting with him. One staff member even left a good review “Companionable gentleman on the leash. I am slowly getting better at keeping him from bonking his head, but he is a forgiving guy. Not really thrilled with the wind.” He also shows us how he would much prefer being the only fur baby of the house. Come on down and meet this 94 pound love today!A close friend of Soldat has paid for his adoption fee in hopes that he finds a new family that much quicker!!Soldat trying out the bumper halo
