Story
Jinx is almost three years old, she has a very complex personaility and due to her past, she is very timid about men. She can be an absolute sweetheart to anyone once you have earned her trust. Like any other dog, she is a big cuddly bug, she loves snuggling up to you, getting chest scratches and belly rubs. Due to her complex personality, she can sometimes be a little stinky bug, by giving you side eyes and huffs. She isn't very vocal, only really barking if she needs to use the bathroom really badly! She knows how to sit, lay down, stay, and wait. Jinx is very capable of learning new tricks if you want to teach her new things, like rolling over or heel!

Story
??Meet Sir Edward: The Majestic Husky ??All rise for Sir Edward! At 5 years old, this regal husky carries himself with true nobility and charm. With his dignified looks and gracious spirit, Edward is sure to turn heads wherever he goes.Sir Edward came to us after his family lost their palace ?? and had to move to a new one that, sadly, couldn’t accommodate a dog of his royal stature. He’s been loved since puppyhood and is used to living both indoors and outdoors. He’s crate trained, too—always a gentleman in his quarters!Edward has been around children ?? and is playful and gentle with them. He also got along well with his former doggy ?? housemate, Bubba, showing that he’s truly a friend to all in the kingdom.Don’t let his age fool you—Sir Edward is still a classic, high-energy husky who will need an active family that understands his need for daily adventure and exercise. He already knows how to sit and takes treats with the gentlest manners—a testament to his royal upbringing. If you’re ready to welcome a noble soul into your family, Sir Edward awaits his next royal chapter. Come meet him at the shelter (??430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC) and see if your castle is ready for a king!

Story
?? Meet Rudolph—the Real-Life Red-Nosed Wonder! ??Just like his famous namesake, Rudolph the Red-Nosed ?? Reindeer, our Rudolph is one-of-a-kind and ready to light up your life! This handsome, 1.5-year-old husky mix was found on a merry little adventure (though his version involved chickens instead of sleighs!). Even after his chicken-chasing and sampling escapade, Rudolph arrived at the shelter happy, healthy, and full of holiday cheer.Rudolph has quickly become a shelter favorite. He’s friendly, well-mannered, and as sociable as they come. When he met another dog at the shelter, he greeted her with a “jolly and bright” wagging tail and a playful spirit. If there was ever a dog to join in reindeer games, it’s Rudolph! He’s a polite, thoughtful companion—always ready to adjust his play style and make new friends. Now, Rudolph is searching for his forever family! He’s ready to leave behind his days of chicken ?? adventures and trade them for cozy cuddles, fun playtimes, and all the love your home can offer. If you’re looking for a dog who’ll guide your family through laughter and love—not just on foggy Christmas Eves—come meet Rudolph at the shelter (??430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC)!??????As always, we recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children in your home to ensure the most magical fit.Could you be the one to give this red-nosed wonder a home for the holidays—and every day after? ????
