Story
What a handsome boy Foster is! He’s a 2.5 year old husky mix, weighing about 50 lbs. Foster’s an active pup who enjoys playing with his toys and the great outdoors, where he loves laying around and chasing birds, even in cold weather. He’s not much of a fetch guy and prefers playing independently with his toys. Foster seems to have a preference toward women. He’s great on walks and stays right by your side, but hold tight if he sees birds or other small critters, as he loves chasing them! He can also be leash reactive to other dogs on walks.  While foster enjoys playing with other dogs, he’d prefer to be the only pet in a calm adult home with grown children. He wants all the love and attention for himself and does not like to share, especially his food with other dogs. He is a bit anxious in the car and when going to new places, but really enjoys adventures, once familiar with the place. Foster is a big cuddler, especially at the end of the day when everyone’s home, settled, and relaxing together watching TV.  He wants to be right there with you and will follow you everywhere! He likes knowing everyone is safe, as he feels it’s his job to protect his people. Foster is house and crate trained, up to date, neutered and microchipped.     April 29, 2026, 11:27 am

Story
Meet Gunnar, your future best friend with a story of resilience and a heart of gold. Gunnar is a handsome German Shepherd who proves every single day that nothing can slow him down. After being hit by a car, Gunnar lost one of his legs, but he hasn’t lost an ounce of his spirit. This incredible tripod gets around with confidence, determination, and a joyful energy that’s truly inspiring to watch. Gunnar is as friendly as they come. He loves meeting new people and greets everyone like an old friend. He is friendly with other dogs out and about, however, at home he would prefer to be your one and only and soak up all the attention.  Don’t let the three legs fool you, Gunnar still enjoys walks, playtime, and being part of whatever you’re doing. He adapts beautifully and just wants to be included in a loving home where he can continue to thrive. Gunnar is looking for someone who sees how special he is, not in spite of his journey, but because of it. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate, and inspiring companion, Gunnar is ready to meet you. Story
Carly Forsyth is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!    A 4 month old German Shepherd mix with brains, beauty, and enough energy to keep life exciting. This friendly girl is always ready to be part of the action and would happily be your little shadow, following you room to room and keeping tabs on her favorite people. Carly is smart as a whip and already knows sit, making her a great candidate for continued training. She walks nicely on leash, enjoys getting out and about, and has the energy and curiosity typical of a young shepherd pup. She also loves to play with other dogs, though her style is enthusiastic and full speed ahead. Carly would thrive in an active home ready to provide structure, training, exercise, and lots of love.
