Story
Meet Oliver – A Brave Pup with a Big Heart!! Oliver is a precious puppy who hasn’t had the easiest start in life. He wandered up to a home that has a non dog friendly dog. One of the residents knew of a southern rescuer and she agreed to bring this boy into rescue. He was found to have has demodex, an injury to his ear and was full of fleas and ticks.Oliver was initially slow to trust, but with time, love, and gentle care, his true personality shined. He is playful, affectionate, and always up for some fun with his toys—or even better, with his people! Like any pup his age, he’s still learning and enjoys a good chew, so puppy-proofing is a must.True to his husky roots, Oliver loves to chat and has quite the personality. He still can be a little shy at first, but give him about an hour and you’ll have a cuddle buddy full of hugs and tail wags. He’s already mastered a doggie door and knows to do his business outside. While he’s still working on his leash manners, he’s making progress every day. After a tough beginning, Oliver is finally ready for his fresh start. He’s looking for a family that will love, train, and grow with him—and maybe even appreciate a good conversation or two!Check out a couple of videos of this precious boy:https://youtube.com/shorts/QqrHUodfVa8?si=16swubfpmb3G7v77https://youtube.com/shorts/6hNLUVSuIfY?si=F8x9DwcfSQU3ppciName: OliverBreed: Husky MixSex: MaleAge: 6 monthsWeight: 26 lbsNeutered: YesHeartworm: Testing to be scheduledHousetrained:  To a doggie doorMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently: Mississippi    Puppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact. Story
Meet Sasha Mama, the stunning husky with a heart as big as her beautiful eyes! This sweet, loving girl has been through so much, yet her spirit remains bright and full of love. Dumped with her puppies on Christmas Eve, Sasha was rescued just in time by one of our amazing southern fosters. She was an incredible mom, nurturing and caring for her pups until they all found their forever homes. Now, it’s her turn to find the love she so truly deserves!Sasha is the perfect companion for families with children aged 8 and older. She’s playful, affectionate, and has an exuberant personality that matches her high energy. Whether she’s enjoying with her favorite toys, playing with you, or going for walks, she will keep your heart full and your home lively. And Mama has the typical husky vocalization that will surely keep you entertained. She is crate trained and leash savvy, She has never been unattended while in the home and outside of the crate but has not had an accident. Sasha is easy to handle on walks and enjoys occasional car trips. However, Sasha is protective of her food, so she does need to be fed separately to ensure peace and happiness at mealtime. She plays with other dogs at her foster home, and while never aggressive ,she does show dominance at times. She plays best with submissive dogs.If you’re looking for a loving, energetic husky with a zest for life, Sasha Mama is ready to bring endless joy to your home. She would thrive in a home with husky experience and a fenced yard where she can run, play, and be spoiled as the true princess she is! If you would like to apply to take RIVER home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. River, is a very gentle, easy-going, calm, laid-back, would rather have his belly rubbed and be by your side, then play with toys kind of boy. He is very loving and sweet and follows you around. He loves to be loved on and rolls over to get belly rubs as much as he can. He loves to play in the water and that’s the most playful you’ll see him when he is splashing around in the little kiddie pool. He is great with kids as well. He’s awaiting a heartworm test, but if he’s positive we will treat prior to adoption, will update when we know.

Story
Meet Luna! Luna is a beautiful husky girl who is ready to find her happily ever after. She considers herself a amateur food critic and often spends hours curled up on the couch watching Hells Kitchen or leaving detailed Google reviews of restaurants that did not meet her expectations. In her down time, Luna goes for long walks around the city and snoops on the neighbors. She's not a snitch or a gossip, but she likes to keep herself well informed on the goings-on around town. She's got eyes that can stare into your soul and will probably learn all your darkest secrets in no time at all, but she'll love you nonetheless. Luna knows her manners - because of course she does, Luna's a proper lady - and walks perfectly on leash, is crate trained and house trained, and doesn't tend to get destructive or stressy when left alone. Luna has lived with another dog before and done well, but she has no experience with cats. Luna is currently in foster care, if you are interested in meeting her, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email Claire at cshamgochian@parl.org to set up a meet and greet!

Story
Meet Prince! Prince is a playful and fluffy husky who loves his people, toys, and spending hot summer days relaxing in the pool. He has the cutest play bow that he will offer when he gets excited or you pick up his leash. Prince came in with his BFF Gizmo, and though they make an unlikely duo - a silly husky and a chunky beagle - they enjoy each other's company and love to go home together if they found someone who wants to add double the love to their family. Prince has also lived with cats and could do well with new feline friends with a slow introduction. **if you are interested in Prince, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours**
