Kai is 4 years old, 70 lbs Meet Kaia – the brave, beautiful German Shepherd who’s healed her way into everyone’s hearts! 💕 She’s smart, loving, and ready for her forever home. Could she be your new best friend? Kaia is a stunning German Shepherd with a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes. Kaia has been in foster care for five weeks following an accident which left her with a broken pelvis. She has been resting and healing, but her foster mom can tell that she has a playfulness about her as well as a gentle and affectionate nature. Kaia is incredibly smart and eager to please—she loves learning new tricks and thrives with positive reinforcement. Even though Kaia has been resting for the past few weeks, her foster mom has begun teaching her tricks and she has learned to sit and down in just two days. She is very intelligent. Because of her breed, Kaia would do best with an active family or individual who enjoys outdoor adventures, long walks, and plenty of playtime. She’s house-trained, has an appointment to be spayed, and is up-to-date on her vaccinations. Kaia has gotten along well with adults and older children in her foster home, and while she can be a little selective with other dogs, she has done well with proper introductions to her foster’s canines. If you’re looking for a faithful companion who will shower you with love, Kaia is ready to fill your life with joy. Her strength, intelligence, and loving nature prove that she’s not just a survivor—she’s a truly special dog who’s ready for her forever home.
