Quick Facts Age: 1yr old Kids: will do fine with older kids (10+) Dogs: good with large male dogs Cats: NO cats Training: needs obedience training 1. In my short life, I was treated horribly by my so-called owner. I was kept in a crate for 20+hrs per day, rarely fed, and left to sit in my own feces. Thanks to IDGSR they rescued me and have gotten me healthy & thriving! 2. I'm learning what living in a loving home is all about. I am house & crate trained, have decent manners, and am overall a lovely gal. 3. I would love a large male doggo companion to romp around the yard with. I enjoy sniffing every single blade of grass, following your every footstep, and making my way into your heart. 4. I'm very smart and catch on quickly. Will you paw-promise to give me a PHD in obedience training so I'm the bestest behaved girl around? 5. If you have been looking for a friendly, resilient, house/crate trained, overall wonderful new companion - I'm your girl! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! Story
IDGSR Welcomes SATCHMO into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL ADOPTION ************** Howdy Friends! My name is Satchmo and I'm an awesome 4-5 year old male German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available local adoption. Quick Facts: Age - 4-5yrs old Kids - teenagers or adult home preferred Dogs - good with large breed females Cats - NO cats Training - received full obedience training at MDK9 Extra video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj4VnbZu87o 1. My previous home was absolutely awful. I was living in a pen that was deep with mud and other nasty stuff. I didn't have much human interaction and I was left to fend for myself. Thankfully IDGSR rescued me! 2. I would love to have a friendly female pupper in my next home to play with. There's something about having a playmate to run zoomies with that is just so fun! 3. I would love to go on walks, hikes, explore waterfalls, go swimming, eat pup-cups, and chase fireflies at night. Basically any summertime activity I'm down for, as long as it's with you! 4. I recently finished a 4-week training program with Mason Dixon K9. I learned confidence building, all sorts of obedience skills, and how to be the best boy! When you adopt me, you're getting a fully trained doggo. We do need to continue training but I've already got the basics down. 5. If you are looking for a resilient, fully obedience trained, friendly, handsome, active, and smart new companion - I'm your guy! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
