Story
A beautiful German Shepherd girl, Zara has grown by leaps and bounds in her time with us! Entering the shelter a bit shy and reserved, she has gained confidence on the leash and enjoys romps in the play yard. Zara has only been an outside girl, but her calm presence indicates being an indoor/outdoor gal might be a great fit...with the best of both worlds! Her prior outside life granted her the "gift" of a positive heartworm test, but with treatment for the disease in our shelter, Zara is now heartworm-free! Zara does well with kids and has lived with other dogs successfully, so wrap her up in a bow and call her a great package! Adopt Zara and become her biggest fan!

Story
Need to find a good home. 🏡🐶 Gus showed up at my parent’s house while wandering around their neighborhood. My parents have rescued dogs over the years but are in their 70’s and it is difficult for them to have big dogs and do not want to take him to the shelter. He is approximately 4 1/2 years old and very sweet. He is very playful and needs a large, fenced backyard or taken for walks. He is heartworm negative and on a heartworm preventative each month. He is around 56 pounds. He is crate-trained and does not bark. He would be a great pet for a person looking for a very gentle, sweet and loving dog.
