Story
Need to find a good home. 🏡🐶 Gus showed up at my parent’s house while wandering around their neighborhood. My parents have rescued dogs over the years but are in their 70’s and it is difficult for them to have big dogs and do not want to take him to the shelter. He is approximately 4 1/2 years old. He is very playful and needs a family with a large, fenced backyard. He has chased cats before, as he is very playful and is not used to being around them but he is not mean at all. People with apartments can’t be considered, only those with a fenced backyard because he needs an enclosed space to run where he won’t get out. Gus would especially love to have a family with kids to play and run around with in a big backyard. He is heartworm negative and on a heartworm/flea preventative each month. He is around 56 pounds. He is crate-trained and does not bark. Gus is also leash trained. He would be a great pet for a person looking for a very happy, sweet and loving dog that loves to snuggle.

Story
Adopt Bonita! 💜 Bonita is a stunning 6-year-old husky mix with a story — and a heart full of love still waiting to be shared. Originally found with sarcoptic mange, this sweet girl was skin and bones, suffering in silence. Despite her microchip registration, her owners never responded, leaving Bonita heartbroken and abandoned. She’s been with us for five years (since November 2020), patiently hoping that her forever family will finally come along. With her curled tail, sparkling diamond-like eyes, and confident spirit, Bonita is the full package — beauty, brains, and a heart of gold. She adores people and has a fun, social personality that shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s showing off her playful side or leaning in for snuggles, Bonita knows how to make everyone around her smile. She does well with other dogs after slow introductions, but she’s not a fan of cats. True to her husky nature, Bonita has a beautiful howl that adds to her charm — which means she’ll do best in a home (apartments aren’t ideal) with a secure fenced yard where she can play and explore safely. Active, affectionate, and full of life, Bonita is ready to bring endless love and laughter to the family who finally sees how special she is. After all this time, she deserves nothing less. 💜🐾 Are you the family Bonita has been waiting her entire life for? Apply to adopt her today! linktr.ee/zoisanimalrescue

Story
Grace is a stunning husky mix around 2 years old with the softest soul to match her beautiful looks. She’s the kind of dog you feel before you even really know her—gentle, loving, and always wanting to be close to her people. When she trusts you, she becomes your little shadow, quietly following along and checking in to make sure she’s right where she belongs. At home, Grace is easy and cozy. If she’s not de-stuffing her favorite toy of the day, she’s curled up on the couch napping. She’s fully house trained and will politely hover by the door when she needs to go out. She does great being left out of a crate, though crate training is still a work in progress (she has a few opinions about it and isn’t shy about sharing them). She loves attention—but on her terms—and when she’s in the mood, she’ll happily soak up all the pets and cuddles. She’s been doing really well on outings, especially when she has someone she knows by her side. Grace likes to stay close and checking in often. Other dogs help boost her confidence, and she gets along well with them—even if her version of play includes some classic husky-style “talking.” She’s also good with cats, though she sometimes wishes they were a little more interested in playing with her. Grace is smart and already responds really well to training clickers—she just needs someone willing to keep building on that and helping her grow. She’s a little sensitive, a little goofy, a little dramatic in the cutest way—and so full of love. All she needs is a patient home to help her keep gaining confidence. In return, you’ll get loyalty, snuggles, and the sweetest companion

Story
Lyra is a beautiful, 100% Siberian Husky who is an absolute sweetheart. She is 4 years old and spayed, with much more life to live! I don’t have enough space to provide her after my recent move, and it breaks my heart to have to do this. She spends much time around my 1 and a half year old nephew and is extremely well mannered around him. She has spent her whole life around my other dogs and is very good with them, she has never had any issues with other dogs! I just want to give her the life she deserves, unfortunately after moving and starting my own company I just don’t have much time to give her what she needs. I know you will love her as much as my family has!

Story
We step up. Again.Because when people fail them… we refuse to look away. This poor, sweet boy was found on a country road in Brookshire—nothing but skin, bones, and a will to survive. He is heartbreakingly thin, every rib and hip bone visible… yet still gentle, still hopeful, still trying. Thanks to Steven and Donna, he was safely off the streets these last couple of days. And tonight, thanks to an amazing foster who said YES, he is safe with us. He will see our vet tomorrow to begin the long road back to health. He deserves a chance. He deserves a full belly, a warm bed, and people who won’t fail him ever again. Belle’s Buds Rescue steps in where others don’t—but we can’t do it without YOU. If you’d like to help this boy’s care, donate toward his vetting, food, and recovery: BellesBudsRescue.org PayPal: paypal.me/bellesbudsrescue Venmo: https://www.venmo.com/u/BellesBudsRescue Apply to foster or adopt: http://bit.ly/BellesBudsApp Thank you for being the village that makes rescues like this possible.
