He will do well with any female dog his size or he can be the only dog.  He is a very loving and affectionate dog to FEMALE humans and female large dogs i.e Shepherd mixes.   He is a tad shy at first, but he warms up to FEMALE humans he likes.  He likes treats and affection.    He will do best in a home where family is active and house noise level is low and a securely fenced yard..  No apartments please or cats.  He was abused first year by a man..     He loves car rides. Is leash trained but will need training with new handler.  HE DOES NOT LIKE KENNELS!  Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. Hi there! I’m an affectionate and energetic Husky mix with a big heart and a love for playtime—especially with another dog my size. I’m looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where I can run, romp, and relax after a good play session. As a Husky mix, I have plenty of energy and will thrive with daily exercise, outdoor activities, and mental stimulation. I’d love a family that enjoys the great outdoors as much as I do—bonus points if you live in a cooler climate where I can fully enjoy my Husky roots! I’m a big fan of tough toys like sturdy nylon bones, KONGs, and anything that keeps me busy without being destructive. Group training classes would be a fun bonding activity and a great way for me to keep learning! Because of my talkative nature, I’m not suited for apartment living—I like to express myself! Ideally, my future family will have experience with Huskies or similar breeds and understand the care and commitment we need. If you’re looking for a smart, spirited, and loving companion to join you on life’s adventures, I just might be your perfect match.

Patty isn't one for hard work; she's more interested in being a loyal companion who loves to hang out and be around you. Whether she's getting in your way playfully or just lounging nearby, Patty's main goal is to be close to her family.
