Story
Say hello to Aspen! Aspen has a love of playing, a desire for a job to do, and a knack for looking cute while she does both. Aspen has been with our family since she was 2 months old. We love her dearly, but her taste for chickens has caused issues for us and our neighbors. Also her habit of digging her way out of our fenced yard. She is in need of space to run and someone who has the time to spend putting all that energy she has to good use. She has been an outdoor dog on our property her whole life, but with some training she could get used to indoors as well. She needs to either have space to run around in a fenced yard with a dog barrier, or someone who has the time to take her on adventures and walks daily. She is kennel trained for nighttime. She knows sit, “hold” (waiting for a treat to be given), and “go to bed” to go to her kennel. Aspen is an alpha female and sometimes bullies our other female dog, so it is unknown if she would get along with another dog.

Story
Meet Aurora! This one year old mixed breed (Labrador/german shepherd/siberian husky/australian cattle dog) loves to be where the people (and treats) are. She is an affectionate, talkative, sweet girl. She loves to play but is more of a chill dog who likes to just sit which you or lie under her favorite tree. She has spent her life as an outdoor alert dog (barking whenever animals or people come to visit our property). Unfortunately when she came to us we were unaware that she should not be around chickens, and after some losses, we have decided she needs to find a home with someone who doesn’t have birds around to tempt her. She gets along with our other dog, with our kids, and once she warms up to you, anyone who comes to visit. She would do great with a fenced backyard or proximity collar.
