Story

&#239&#187&#191 Finnegan, or "Finn" as his friends call him, is an adorable 6 month old Shiba Inu puppy weighing in at around 15 pounds. Finn is loving his time with his foster family and although he is timid with humans yet, Finn is being socialized and loves playing and spending time with the resident dogs. He is now ready to find a loving patient home of his own! Finn and his siblings were surrendered to a shelter from less than ideal conditions where they did not receive proper care and socialization. Because of this, Finn and his siblings are timid with humans but are now learning about life as a properly spoiled companion. He's getting there and is now learning how much playing fun can be. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs and is learning confidence from them,  Both Finn and his brother Fergus do REQUIRE    a secure FENCE    in the back   yard and another RESIDENT DOG!     Finn is also doing great with potty training and it's rare he has an accident and bonus he will happily sleep through the night.  Finn is an amazing dog puppy and once he learns to love and trust you, you'll soon discover great value comes from a little extra time put in!    Please apply at   https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application DONATION ADOPTION FEE $375   PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. Sweet Fergus, a 6 month old adorable 16 pound Shiba Inu puppy is learning how wonderful life can be and is now looking for his forever family!  With  some love and patience this boy will  melt your heart! He loves to play with other dogs and his toys! Although he is still a bit timid with humans just watch his eyes and you can see his desire to be loved. He will totally let you pick him up and love on him! Fergus was surrendered to a shelter with his siblings from less than ideal conditions. The puppies were not properly cared for or socialized in their previous life but since arriving in rescue Fergus and his siblings are learning about trust.  Fergus rarely has accidents, sleeps all night in his crate by his fosters bed and is a fairly quiet dog. This super sweet boy loves playing in a fenced yard with other dogs. Both Fergus and his brother Finn do REQUIRE a secure FENCE in the backyard and another RESIDENT DOG so he continues to gain confidence. Once Fergus learns to trust a patient family, he will be a great family dog. We suggest no toddlers as fast movement are scary for him. Older children are fine and he really seems to enjoy them!
